Hi everyone, I have been reading through some posts since I joined yesterday and quite frankly I'm really concerned for some of the people and the techniques they are using to lose weight.
Portion control is good within reason but just not eating is not a healthy way to lose weight. For alot of people, not everyone. Its important to go to a doctor and have a check up and blood work before starting a diet regime.
Your body body needs food, not just a bottle of water and an apple. Alot of times getting your metablolism working for you will help you considerably. For myself and my wife we eat every 2 hours or so, whether its a snack or a meal. That keeps the metabolism pumping. Also I take a B complex vitamin in the morning and a B12 in the afternoon. They also help the metabolism and give you energy.
There are many ways to lose weight and different people respond better or worse to different types of programs. The important thing is to loose your weight in a slow and healthy fashion, its more likely to stay off that way, trust me the quick ways just dont work. Good luck everyone.
