Hi Karebare! It's freezing outside! This morning it was minus 5 degrees with the wind, ugh!! I'm moving to Florida or somewhere warm!! Love diet rootbeer!!

Started the New Years/Valentine Day Challenge to hopefully lose 10 lbs. Walked a total of 1 hr. yesterday on treadmill! Went to store bought fruit veggies, oatmeal, and 100 cal. snack packs and lean cuisine meals. Should be set for the weekend! Trying to drink a lot of water.

Meals of day

Breakfast Oatmeal 1 pk. 230 cal.
12 oz. water w/lemon
 
Walked on the treadmill last night for 30 more minutes, a total of 1 hour yesterday, which was a little over 3 miles. Butt is sore this morning. Also did stairstepper for 5 minutes, hurt a lot,lol. Will get used to the pain. Ate ok yesterday, did go out to dinner and ate about 1/4 of food and had 1/2 glass of wine. Otherwise was good for the rest of the day. Bought 100 cal. snack packs, actually taste good, boys ate a lot of them last night. My middle teenager, Nik is determined to help me lose weight and told me to eat more fruit and veggies, not the snack packs. I'm going to go eat breakfast and then start walking again!!
 
Did 30 minutes on the treadmill for 1.25 miles, still sore, will stretch out again this afternoon. Reading Fitness mag. Has some great recipes in it, will try a few. The mag. said the #1 Slim Down trick is to drink Plenty of Water! Seems to be working for me. Now to cut out diet soda! Also eat plenty of fiber, the #1 source of fiber were pears, and pistachios, thought that was very interesting, off to the store again, tomorrow!:hurray:
 
Went to Savers this afternoon, pants feeling loose, went to try on jeans and I'm officially a size 10 jeans in Tommies and Calvin Kleins!! It was 50% off day too! Got the jeans for 4.00 per pair!! Also picked up a few tees to wear out. Only got 1/2 hr. in of walking yesterday, plan on walking for 1 hr today on the treadmill, eating pretty good, unable to calculate cal. did a buffett at a Mongolia Rest. But did veggies only, rice and did have a dessert, 1/2 cup tap. pudding and a small fried donut thing, but drank water all day today. Not bad. Weighed in at 158.4 this morning!! Oh yeah had oatmeal weight watchers for breakfast, and planning on tuna and apple for dinner.:hurray:

Let me know if you need any help or motivation staying on track!
I would love to hear suggestions on losing weight, really getting focused! Motivation is always the key, to a lot of things in my life, that would be great! Need tips on exercising with out lifting more than 10 lbs. Bought 2lb. weights to use when walking on the treadmill. I'm afraid I'll lose the weight below but not on top. Thanks for the help! :waving:
 
Good morning diary, finally it's going to be foggy and warm today, high of 45 degrees!!!! :party: Going to walk for 30 minutes this a.m., walked last for 1 hour. Breakfast is 4 oz. cranberry juice and 1 orange, and 1 piece of toast.
This seems to be working, still amazed I'm in a size 10. Reminds me of high school almost,lol. I was a size 2 way back then!! Do not want to be that skinny again, but size 8 sounds great!!
 
It's almost 4 p.m. here and very foggy. I got 30 minutes in on the treadmill, along with a lot of laundry. Doing another 30 -45 minutes tonight, Desperate Housewives is on again tonight!! Calories so for today:
Breakfast: orange 80 cal.
cranberry juice 90 cal.
toast w/sugar free jam 120 cal.
Lunch: tuna pita 190 cal.
water so far: 48 oz. w/lemon
 
Well it's 44 degrees outside and I'm excited!! Love it when it's warm.

Today's goals: 1500 cal.
48-56 0z. water w/lemon
2.5 miles on the treadmill

Happy thought of day: My hubby said he was proud of me.
 
It's going to be "gorgeous" outside here today too...I live in Iowa. Doesn't it seem so nice when we are in the mid forties?

Looks like you did great with your eating yesterday! 2.5 miles today is great too! Keep it up!

And it is a great feeling when we get compliments, isn't it? Good for you!
 
Still raining here, a downpour, anyways got shopping done for today.
Calories so far today 475 that's for breakfast and lunch and 24 oz. water.
Doing laundry and will walk after I get boys home from school.

Love the ticker Karebare, still doing laundry, my boys keep there clothes until everything is dirty, ugh!! Then still on ten pound limit so it takes 2x's as long to carry upstairs,lol. Good exercise right!

Craving sweets, had 1 piece of xmas candy, and boiling up veggies for dinner for me to eat!
 
Went to store and grabbed a salad at the veggie bar w/ 3 strawberries and 1/4 cup cottage cheese for dinner. Also walked for 1 hr. which gave me a little over 3 miles on treadmill. Legs are still sore!! The Biggest Loser is on tomorrow yeah, love this show!! Still foggy out, and raining a bit, so walking outside tonight.

I'm taping the Biggest Loser, have to watch the Primary's to help Noah my 7th grader w/his homework. Needs to find out who wins, ugh want to watch Bob and Jillian,lol. Thanks for the tator, I really want some carbs,lol. Had a day,ugh!!!!

New doctor decided that he did not want to deal w/my husbands meds. and he needed to go elsewhere, also would not have time to see me for a few weeks, should not be a big deal, but need my meds. refilled to help w/my swallowing(eating), and this new doctor said I was not an emergency and he would see me in a few weeks, ugh!! I'm feeling like frustrated!! I just want to refill my prescription, did not want to switch doctors but hubby's work switched insurances on us.

Anyways, have another appt. tomorrow w/some new doctor, we'll see what he says. Neck swelling from surgery still there, no meds. to help w/swelling, so ate light today.

Good news....weighed in today for the heck of it, and was 157.8 yeah, that's a 1.6 lb. loss!!

Good morning. Going to walk before my doc appt. Feel tired today, maybe it's the gloomy weather, not sure why. Slept really good last night, was disappointed with the biggest loser last night, but my team is doing well, the pink team.

What are you on meds for? Swallowing? Sorry I don't mean to be nosy.

My husband is really in to watching the Primary coverage. I just like to see who wins not all the stuff leading up to it. We live in Iowa and went to caucus this year, it was a lot of fun!
