ILM: Workouts, Ruminations and Perv Lounge (Come One, Come All)

That's awesome news!

I adore bohemian-style arrangements, romantic and otherwise. I have been seeing LOTS of "freaks" lately and I think I'm starting to forget the world of Squares, which can only bring me trouble! I have to remember that ya can't always go in public dressed as an elfin furry animal and expect to be well-received by yuppies. LOL!

Eager to hear more, have a fantastic rest of your day!

Hey you sexy thang!!! You didn't tell me you started one of these yet.. You made me go find it myself? Oh yeah and I think you made a comment about being shy? Umm... yeah... right...

Glad to see you here my sweet!

It's very cool that Travis is working out so well in the new arrangement. Please... don't stress about it. Just because something is different from the norm... I say go with the flow here. Sure there are going to be challenges eventually but doesn't every relationship have them? When we first started involving couples outside of our relationship we didn't expect to find anything other than recreation... We've now developed soem truly incredible, intimate friendships that enhance our lives. Stepping outside of the norm and welcoming in something new can bring so many rewards...

Guess I'm just saying, roll with it, let it become what it is going to and cross bridges with honesty and communication when you have to.

Plus, lets face it... Sex with multiple partners rocks out loud!!!

Karl, I'm so sorry. I thought I told you that I started a journal ... I guess I meant to tell you but I didn't. Here's some kisses for ya XXXXXXXXX :beating::beating:

I certainly can't complain about the two guy thing! But we all have to share, so it's a bit weird. I think we'll all get used to it fairly quickly :)

I actually had a workout today! Not a great workout, but I feel a lot better now :)

5 minute warmup on the bike.

Squats:
1x10 @150lbs
1x10 @175
1x10 @200

Lunges:
3x10 with 30lb DBs (still have to watch the biceps tendon)

Leg curls:
3x10 @90lbs

Then did my rehab and some core work.

Afterwards spent 30 minutes on the bike -- not hard cardio, but I couldn't feel my ass when I got off it. I usually don't spend that much time on a bike. Wish I could get back on the ergo ... that's my next big step.

BTW, I hate stationary bikes. I get the worst numb bum/parts from sitting on them. Why can't they make a seat that's actually comfortable that doesn't give me nerve damage in my Crown jewels! :smash:

New Years was good, thanks. Didn't do much of anything and no drinking. Felt energized the next day so did some hiking.

Sounds like yours was well too.

Glad to hear. :)

Yeah, I read all about your hiking :) You're a machine, Steve!!! Well, actually, when I was your age, I probably would have been doing that, too :biggrinjester:

New Year's went pretty well. The three of us don't drink either and we're not much for the New Year's Eve parties around here. We're actually quite boring :smilielol5:

There are these three gay guys who own a gay resort in New York, and they all live together (and have done for quite some time), so I don't see why three bisexuals can't all live together happily ever after. I know it's not everybody's cup of tea, though ;)

I'm just not a very jealous person and neither are Matt and Travis. I'm definitely protective, but I'm certainly not jealous. I'm really quite amazed this threesome thing is working out so well. I think it's working because we're all so relaxed around each other. I feel like I've known Travis for years -- he's so bloody easy-going and so easy to get to know. He's like an open book. And Matt is just so freaking cool about everything.

This was all Matt's idea, and because I love him, I said "Do it". Because I love him, I'd do anything for him. So I'm quite ecstatic that this has all worked out :)

At least so far ... it hasn't been that long ...

Aw, thanks Steve :)

It is exciting in a way. I had a serious care of the butterflies before meeting Travis. And I was hoping things would just all work out, because I don't like dissention. I like things to be nice all the time :)

And I absolutely HATE arguing, so I like to make things at home as stable and pleasant as possible for everybody. I think people function better when they feel comfortable and relaxed :grouphug:

Yeah, two guys rocks some serious shit! :hurray:

But the stuff in bold is the best advice anybody could ever give. That's just beautiful, Karl!!!

Never made it to the gym because they were on holiday hours. Crap.

So did some rehab at home (did 3x10 of everything unless otherwise noted). Not the best workout, but I might as well combine everything since I can't do that much.

BPs with DBs
DBs - 20lbs (still taking it slow)

Bicep curls
10lb DB in left arm, 20lb DB in right arm

Front, lateral and back delt raises
10lbs on right arm
5lbs on left arm ... so sad :(

Skull Crushers
20lb DBs

Bent over rows
20lb DBs

Girl's push-ups
2x10. Left arm started to complain ... so I quit while I was ahead.

Did some planks and side planks -- held the front planks for 2 minutes; held the side planks for 1 minute. Tough to do with a buggered shoulder ...

Took all of 25 minutes. Barely broke into a sweat. So I did 20 minutes of ballet barre exercises to get the heart-rate up and then stretched my legs. That felt good :)

All in all, it just didn't feel like I had a workout ... but at least I am able to do something with that shrivelled thing I call a left bicep :D

I think it's at least 1" smaller than the right one now. I'm not very symmetrical when I look in the mirror :p

OK, I didn't work out today in the gym. I didn't even do rehab.

But I did expend calories other ways, so I don't feel guilty at all :D

Travis is only here until January 10 and then he flies back to Cinncinnati to clean up and start moving here. He'll be staying with Matt when he moves here at the end of the January (hopefully by the end of January) because Matt's house is way bigger than mine :)

If I'm a little scarce here over the next week, it's for two reasons: gotta go back to work (oh joy, I'm so excited I think I just crapped myself) and I want to spend as much time with Travis and Matt as possible (that's worth it!).

I'll do my best to workout, though and I'll try to post my rinky dink workouts ;)

Ciao for now! I hope everybody had a good holiday. But it's back to reality again ... i.e., indentured servitude :D

So the Travis Situation has worked out all around... That's beautiful! I think we call your recent workouts "alternative" aerobics... The best kind IMO.

Check and see if I'm on later hun... Love to chat... :hug2:

Back to work sucks! I feel your pain. But the time off was nice. :)

Enjoy yourself.

Thanks, Steve! I will certainly enjoy myself!!! This kind of lovin' doesn't come around every day :D

Thanks for your support, Karl :) It means the world to me XOX

OK, so yesterday was not good because there was a family emergency that pretty much occupied my time from 2:00pm until the end of the evening. As at today, I think things are going to be OK.

I have gained 2 pounds, and judging from my mirror, it's all fat. I'm actually a bit depressed about it.

I had physio tonight for my biceps injury, and it went great! No pain with the rehab exercises, had lots of ultrasound, acupuncture and muscle stim. It's feeling very happy!

Will have to see how long that lasts. I have a very unhappy left trap that tends to want to pull my left shoulder girdle out of whack, and my supraspinatus, infraspinatus and teres minor are NOT happy. They really hurt yesterday and today (probably from the stress), but right now they're feeling pretty damned normal for a change! YIPPEEEEEE!!!! There's a party going on in my shoulder right now and you're all invited :D

This is my shoulder before physio: :boxing::smash:

This is my shoulder after physio: :party:

Needless to say, I did not have time to workout today because I didn't get home until 7:30pm, and the boys wanted to go out for dinner. So we just got back, and now they want to have some fun before bedtime. Woo hoo ... nothing like having two men to put some WEEEEEEHOOOOOOO into my life. I've got to update my journal, dammit!!! I've got no time for this frivolity :ack2:

Well, apparently I do, because they are both standing behind me trying to get frisky, and generally just bothering me as only men can do (wink wink!) So it appears that my update is finished :D

Ciao for now! :coolgleamA:

Yeah, it was pretty hot ... ;)

Maybe you need to try it with two women, Steve :p Didn't you just get married though? Probably not something the wife would appreciate ... although you can always dream ;)

Today I think my body has totally rejected me :(

The weather is turning cold again, and whenever it does that, every place I've ever been injured starts complaining. I'm stubborn, so I'm just not listening to the incessant whining right now :nopity:

Plus, I can always take a couple of anti-inflammatories to get me through my workout tonight ;)

I am going to work out tonight. I really can't put it off for another day and feel good about myself.

I'm not looking forward to when Travis leaves :( I'm really going to miss him

Well, I had to work late, roads were getting crappy, didn't make it home until after 7:30pm, was starving so had to eat ... and the bottom line is I NEVER WORKED OUT.

I feel horrible about myself ... come Saturday when Travis leaves, my routine will get back to normal.

Hopefully so will my journal ;)

That's about it!

And I'm cheering on Team 1 and Team 2!!!!!! GO GET 'EM!!!! I'll actually go into the threads and say it, too ... because I highly doubt Team 1 and Team 2 care about my lack of workouts right now :D

I have gained 2 pounds, and judging from my mirror, it's all fat. I'm actually a bit depressed about it.

Awwwww :hug2: It'll go away :) I guess I gained about 3 pounds, although my weight has been 142.5-146 all summer and fall, so you could say I also lost a half a pound since summer  I'm glad though, because it all went to my butt instead of my upper arms (former trouble spot but my body changed its mind--amazing!)

Onothing like having two men to put some WEEEEEEHOOOOOOO into my life

FINGERCUFFS!!!! :D

I'm not looking forward to when Travis leaves :( I'm really going to miss him

You poor thing! :( I hate missing people......
