Today was a great day. Food is in check. Went walking this afternoon, then went shopping for some bike accessories. Bought lights so I dont get hit at night, and padded shorts. When I tried them on I serisouly felt like I was wearing a diaper lol. Hope it keeps me comfortable. I invested a pretty penny in them so hope they are worth it. Going to go for a ride tonight after I get back from the movies. Im supposed to go with a friend if she gets done with work early enough. Other wise I will just go riding earlier. But realllly want to see Sex and the City 2 so I hope she can go. I heard the movie isnt the greatest, but I love the character Aidan, so it will be a great movie no matter what since hes back! :)

So just got back from takin my bike out for the first time. Thank goodness I did it under the cover of darkness to get used to the bike. I really over estimated the route that I was originally going to take. Ended up about 4 miles short of that goal. Hey, it was my first time out, wasn't going to bite off more than I could chew. Just gives me something to work towards.

Bodybugg says I burned roughly 215cal for the ride. It was nice. I made myself go without my ipod which Im glad I didnt take it. To be able to just go and be in the breeze and hear silence, and yet the slight bussle of the small city was very cool.

Also, because of the breeze, I didn't realize how drenched in sweat I was. I came into the house and took my hoodie off and I was soaked. I felt like I was workin, but I didn't think I was workin that hard. My legs and lungs were kinda burning but not like I was going to die if I didn't stop right now. I deffiently felt like I got way more of a workout going outside riding rather than the stationary bike, which is what I ususally do at the gym for my main cardio.

Well gonna go clean up and head to bed. Got a big day of pee tests and a physical for the new job tomorrow. See ya!

PS- Went to the movie. It was ok, 1st was better, but still loved it cuz I love SATC :).

Hello Ya'll!
So everything for the physical went good, I'm not on drugs, I don't have carpel tunnel, and I have perfect vision. :)

I start orientation tomorrow morning at 8, but have to be there at 7:30 to get my TB test read by a nurse. I'm excited to get to sit and listen like I'm in school again for two 8 hour days and get paid for it. But then the real work starts on Wed.

Had an awesome day yesterday. I did claim yesterday as a cheat day as well, which would make for 2 this past week, so no cheat days for awhile! Didn't go crazy but did have local pizza and Texas Roadhouse in the same day. My dads side of the family came up from Indiana this weekend to see my lil sister and my niece. I havent seen some of them in 5+ years. It ended up being.. My sister, her husband, my niece, me, 2 aunts, 2 cousins, and my grandma.

Had a pretty chill day. Just played with the babies mostly. My 2nd cousin is 7 months old and my niece is 6 months old so its awesome to be around them. Oh! And I got puked on TWICE. Guess I am really an aunt now. :)

Today is my last chill day before work begins so I've just been taking it easy. Was headin out to go for a bike ride and suddenly it began to downpour when I was unhooking my bike. Guess I should check out the radar before going outside :).
So later on I'll just go hit the gym if it doesnt let up. Gotta go to bed early tonight, so can't make it a midnight, 1 oclock type of thing like usual.

Today was my first real day of work and whew I am drained. I'm going to have to find out a better way of eating... maybe taking protein bars or something in with me to eat while working. For now I work 10:30-7 and my only break is at 2:30. Today I brought oatmeal to eat on break and by 5 my stomach was growling. There really isn't any down time so I think a quick protein bar would be good. Maybe one at 12:30 and the other at 5ish to get me through.

I also realized I drink a lot less water working there. At my other job I was constantly drinking water out of bordom or out of it being so hot in my kitchen. Here it is pretty temperature controlled and you cant have water at your station, you can only have it on a cart across the kitchen so there is no contamination ect. So to walk across the kitchen when you have orders constantly coming in (I work on the patient line) isn't really a thing I can get away with.

Oh well, things I'm going to have to work through. Hoping tomorrow I catch on a lot more than I did today. There is soooo much to learn! This kitchen is honestly the size of a football field. So when you need to run for something you are really running for it. :)

My Bodybugg band broke yesterday so going to try to fix it now so I can wear it tomorrow. Be nice to see what I burn working there. Talk to ya'll tomorrow!
 
Enjoying a dinner of a sweet potato and a english muffin sandwich with peanut butter and egg white :) Protein heaven.

Also watching Dave Matthews live on YouTube and I'm still trying to figure out what anyone sees in this guys music. I can see why pot heads like him, hes stoned out of his mind right now on stage. Other than that.. not too appealing. Going to look for something else on the net to watch.

Also, my burn for today so far(its 9:25pm right now) is 3207. Its roughly been that every day that I've worked. Not too shabby. Well gotta go kill my cat. I just heard him knock something over. :)

And I love sweet potato. Throw it in the microwave...nuke 7 minutes and voila...instant carbs that are pretty good for ya.

Flumes I thought the same thing when my friend Casey brought the sandwhich to my attention. She made it during lent on fridays so she still got her protein for the day in. I scoffed and was like ew!... then she let me try it. And I crave it all the time since.

She made it on regular toast, but I prefer toasted double fiber english muffins. It also reheats well if you're like me and take it to work in your lunch bag. A minute or 1:30 and its done.

If any of you give it a try, let me know what you think! :)

Had a great day today! Got my car plates renewed. And I wasn't charged the $10 late fee(they expired yesterday)!

Then I went and paid my car payment and I am offically under the $10,000 mark!! Whoo hooo.. I can almost see the end! lol I'm down to $9,887.00. I'm on a 4 year loan so I'm hoping to get it paid for quickly. I've had the car for 2 years now so its nice to see that i've made a nice dent in the loan.

Well gotta get to bed. I'll talk to you all tomorrow!
PS: Think I was craving strawberry at the market? lol.. didn't realize this til I got home and was putting the groceries away. :)

Had an awesome day at work! I am offically on my own and rockin the tray line! I can't tell you how many people come up to me saying I am doing a great job. Makes me very happy!

By 6pm when I got off of work today I had already had a burn of 3285 and took 12468 steps!!! Guess it helps working in such a huge kitchen. :) Trust me, I earn that burn too. You should see me when the 90+ tickets come streaming in.. half way through gettin all the food out my face is beat red and I'm sweatin. Not a pretty site but I just keep thinking the whole time my burn for the day is going to be awesome!

Food has been really good, but I dont know whats goin on with my body. It hasn't been...well how to put this... it hasnt been "expelling" what I'm putting into it. Which I think is odd because I eat plenty of fiber, fruits, vegggies, protein.. Completely stayin on track and not at all going off of it. And yet I'm having these problems. Even over the counter medication isn't helping relieve the problem. hmmm. Don't know what it could be. I'm going to give it another day and if nothing happens I think I'm going to ask someone at work. After all I do work at a hospital now. :) Maybe a nice nurse can give me free advice! lol

Well I'm gonna get off of here and watch Losing It with Jillian. I am looking forward to this episode since it was the main one shown in all of the previews before the show began. Love you all!!

You are doin awesome.

With the problem part...hope you are drinkin lots of water...or fiber doesnt work that well. So plenty of water and that should help.

I know some weightlifters who during a "cut" have this problem too. If it goes too long, it could be a blockage so be careful. See a doc if in doubt.

Sorry to hear about the job thing... Same thing happened to me in October; totally knocked the wind outta me- was very unexpected. I felt super betrayed after all the hard work I put in for them. UGGGH. Oh well, life goes on! Glad ya got a new job tho :)

You're doing a killer job on counting calories and burning them back off! Way to go :) Now help motivate me, haha... I've been not so good the last week or two. Eff.

Flumes- all seems to be workin its self out. I'm going to try some Organic Kefir.. its like liquid yogurt. Its supposed to be really good at keeping your body regular. I'll let you know if it works. :)

Had a 3 day weekend, back to work tomorrow. Pretty much did absoutly nothing besides grocery shop, run errands and got some good work outs in. Other than that its been a lazy 3 days.

I tried some of the Kefir; I hatehatehate yogurt tho, and reallllly thought the liquid stuff would be better. Not so much. Bleh. I think I've had one serving and its still sitting in my fridge... But its really the texture that gets me. Yogurt, pudding, bleh! Hate it all. Even thinking about it has me gagging a little, lollll!

Sorry guys, I know I've been away all week. Its been a very emotional one for me. I dont want to get into it cuz it'll just make me mad again, so moving on! :) I am back. And I will also say I am very proud myself for how I didn't give into binge eating when I was upset!! Thats a milestone for me!

Ok some things have to change for me. I have been eating so well, and burning almost 4000+ calories a day(guaranteed hitting that number on work days) and yet I'm not losing very much. I can tell you for a fact I am losing inches... well more like cm. But still. I want to see that scale go down too! So I need to start hitting the gym more. I've been going very sparadically.

It seems the only time I can actually lose a decent number is when I go to the gym reguarlarly and eat well. I cant just do one or the other. I hate it though. I hate going to the gym. Maybe I should switch to my gym at work finally. Not only save me money, but give me a new enviroment and the trainer there automatically gives you your own workout plan.. if you go when shes there, which is weird hours.

Ok ok thats enough griping for today. Going to go for a bike ride today. Its beautiful out
and theres no reason for me to be sittin here inside. Talk to you all later!
 
Today was Day 1 of my new challenge, hopefully with Jess, but she hasn't gotten back to me yet. I know shes going through a little redecorating process and can't get to the computer, but all is good. Even if she decides not to join me I need to do this. Right now just a 2 month challenge, weigh ins on Mondays. I'm very mad at my body, I did go out last night but didn't drink alot and sure didnt eat anything and I am up 1 lb from yesterday! And then I realize why.... damn you T.O.M.!

Anywhoooo! Happy 4th everyone here from the US! Hope you had a safe, happy, and healthy holiday! I did not participate in any festivities.. well except going out for a few drinks around 11pm... I'm going to watch fireworks next weekend out at my moms house on the lake. Her town always does them the weekend after the 4th which I love.

But as for my challenge, day 1 went awesome. I realize now that I didn't write down what I ate, so I don't have exact totals for you guys. I did have sushi today...love sushi..ahh.. just wish it didn't cost so much. I think I'm going to look into making my own.

Also I've been doing alot of reading on raw diets and lifestyles and I'm going to make an effort to become more raw. Not completely raw, but just adding way more fruits, veggies, nuts, and seeds to my diet. Thought about doing a 7 day raw challenge, but deffiently need to plan that out way in advance with recipes.

Well it's almost 1am, I really need to get to bed, have to work in the am.
Oh yea, job is still awesome. Next Thursday I believe, I am going to be training in a new posistion which starts at 5:30am...oh my goodness. I am going to die. Or be late to work all the time. That is so early. I am used to going to bed then, not waking up then. Well, Ill talk to you all soon. Love ya!

I'm here!! I finally had to dig my computer outta all the crap I've got... NEED to be on here, fershur. So. Day one for me= eh. Not terrific. On the 4th I drank a LOT of beer. Eff. And then yesterday I went swimming for most of the afternoon(without eating... I was just having so much fun that I didn't even pay attention!) so some friends and I had sushi afterwards, and then I DID eat ice cream. Not even gonna lie, erg! Anyway, Day 2 will be a GREAT success! Have a great day :)

Already saw my weight coming down this morning a little bit, so I'm hoping for a nice week 1! Was planning on a bike ride tonight, but there is a huge storm in the area dousing us with rain and tornados have been spotted. Scary! Hopefully it passes by soon, and I'll head to the gym. Day 4 here I come! :)
 
We just had a big tornado hit us a coupla weeks ago, biggest tornado in over 50 years, lol. Tore up our sports/music arena- IRONICALLY, that same arena was suppose to be Billings' emergency evac location, hahahaaaa! So I don't envy you there...

I'm so jealous of you having a bodybugg :( Maybe someday I'll have some money to get one.
