If you can't......

If you don't have acess to an assited chin up station you can do the same move on a lat pull station. Asl do negatives. Hoist yourself up (jump) and lower your self as slowly as you can.
 
Agreed, if you don't have an assisted pullup machine at the gym, do lat pull downs until you lose enough weight/gain enough strength to do pullups.
