This is the ump-tenth time I'm making a diary and as each time, I'm farther right on the scale. This time it's different though. I mean it! My body is reacting poorly to all this extra weight. My blood pressure is soaring, I've been diagnosed with PCOS, body aches, weakness, laziness, and loss of motivation.

I just want a place where I can keep track of my numbers and what I eat.

I used to want to be skinny, now that isn't even in my horizon. I just want to be healthy again. I don't want to feel lethargic.

So, let's go baby, let's go! I got a lot of work ahead of me.

May seem a lot, but certainly a lot less than being on a 7 night cruise!

I woke up today at 3:45 to do a hospital shift, so I forgot to weigh myself! I'm a lot more active at the hospital than the private practice, so I'm sure I got some exercise...but I will go tothe gym tonight so I can stop by JCP. I am having some serious heartburn though, it sucks so bad! I keep drinking water to keep it at bay...

I woke up today and weighed myself before my bm, usually I bm right when I wake up, but got outta bed a bit late for work. it was freezing cold today so apparently there was frost on my car. Another opportunity to walk to work. I did a lot of data entry and box moving. I came home and cooked my meal, I am very proud that I cooked broccoli and added mushroom to the kimchi. Small positive steps right? Nothing outrageous...

I do need to go to the gym eventually and make it a habit! Or be more active at home. Yesterday was a failure of activity after coming home from work. Not going to dwell on the past.

Let's see 199 on new year's eve!

Didn't exercise again, but did go shopping. Shrug, I'm feeling a standstill with my diet and exercise, but that is because I'm not exercising. Lowering my calories is the very first step because I was consuming way too many.....now I gotta make sure my metabolism isn't shot.

The good news is I didn't have one burp of heartburn pain....yes!!!!!!!!! Those are the worst reminders of where I am in terms of health.

Although your calories may not be to high, have you considered the quality of those calories, is it possible to avoid McDonald's and Pizza ? I don't know what the nutritional mix is for Starbucks, because we don't have that where I live.

Enormous portions costing me money, my credit card debt was probably all food! But my cc debt is taken care of now, achieved one of my before 2013 goals :)

Must I make drastic consistent changes to achieve goal of 10lbs/day???

Now
Don't spend money on fast food, I used to easily spend 10 bucks, but that meal cost 3.58. The Starbucks box had a boiled egg, apple, grapes, bread and peanut butter.

Today is the last day of 2012!!! Booked a hotel, but first going to volunteer at a homeless kitchen. Ringing the new year on a good deed, going dancing tonight too, alcohol will be consumed.

Chorizo wasn't the best choice, my tummy feels like it's on fire. Boy, am I tired today. I went over to family homes and cheered happy new year and now I am on my bloated belly on my bed. What an eventful past 36 hours!! Chorizo tore me up, I am never ever going to have that again. I haven't even pooed yet today!!

It was so cold this morning I refused to weigh myself. Standing naked in 57 degrees inside temperature won't happen. I will probably do some treadmill tonight though, I mean we have it so better use it.

The sun is shining and is warm, but this house is cold. A disadvantaged of excellent insulation. I know I'm not eating like I used to cause my bowel movements are a third of what they used to be.

I can't get myself motivated enough to break a sweat, but motivated just to move. Does that matter? I think so. I moved that has to mean exercise that mean boosted my metabolism.

Positives:
* did not help myself to the open box of goodies at work
* not eat a second helping of lunch, I love the meat!!!!!
* plan on exercising, but don't dwell on it. Just do it, second nature, don't over think it.
* no heartburn today!

Well done on starting the diet, you seem to be eating so much food for so few calories!

Its lovely of you to volunteer at the homeless shelter, I think I would be too scared to do it tbh.

That Jack in the box sandwich? Ate about half of it.
The chorizo scramble? Left a third on the plate.

My bowel moves are so small, but feel healthy.

Sorry for some of my posts coming out a bit choppy. Most of my posts are from my tablet and it's just a bit harder to type on that thing than a regular ol' ultrabook. Sorry for being a bit vulgar about my movements, but I have to be cause that is something that is important to me!

I definitely need to drink more water tomorrow, my lips are parched right now. I can't tell in the mirror, i think i look the same if not worse. BUT i feel better overall. Being control over my body feels pretty good.

I'm thinking I will begin my exercise with time goals, i.e. walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes. Eventually, I will focus on distance goals, i.e. don't stop until 3 miles.

Walking while dinner was getting ready was so easy, effortless, walking beats sitting on the couch right? I guess i'm not used to any movement unless I bust out in a sweat. I hate being on extremes! Let's be in the middle!

I really thought any movement would amount to weight loss, but I was so wrong.

Could it have been due to my nye drinking? The food?

I was so full after eating lunch today, I had to force myself to finish the cheese stick and half of a clementine. My feet hurt from running around in the ED today. Gawwwwd,felt like a long day.

Goal of 193lb by January 31!!
I gotta figure out what to do when I'm tired from work, rather than digging out.
