I should have closed/shut down almost an hour ago, but couldn't because there were urgent things that couldn't wait until the morning...GAH! And now it's late and I am too tired, SO exhausted, and my shoulders are killing me from being hunched over my keyboard all day. So, sadly, while I feel like a total failure right now in terms of my exercising, I am not doing my workout. I am leaving and going home to make dinner, eat, and possibly play WoW, and relax, and try to sleep early. Hopefully tomorrow is better. If I can I will do a workout in the morning or over lunch, but will try hard tomorrow to do it after work. Will attempt it on the weekend too, perhaps I'll leave for a bit and come to work to workout if FBIL is home. Otherwise, I will make up by doing an extra workout next week.

ACK! And I even got my mom lost with my directions cuz I wasn't thinking straight :( BLAH! But she isn't too far off and will make her destination in time still.

Anyways, sadly have not had time to ready anything, only post on my own diary lately. Will try to catch up later. Such a horrible crappy day!! And I just remember I think I'm out of socks and clean shirts and towels and need to do some laundry :(
 
Sorry you are having such a bad week!!! I hope it all turn around soon. When you do your very best you have to be happy with what you did....you have to live your life while you are loosing weight...cause is you take time off and just do the weight loss thing....you will have a hard time to keep it off once you go back to your everyday routine.....take it one day at a time!

So quick post then back to my work.

Today so far has been a little better than yesterday. Have actually been able to breathe, but there are still some issues with orders that I must deal with today :( But that's OK! Hopefully it will go well and I will get the answers I need soon.

It is after noon and I'm getting hungry and kinda light headed so I think it's time for lunch after this post. Need energy for later!

Plan today:
Be super productive with my work so I can be done in a few hours (1 hr early ideally).
Work out (hopefully around 4pm if not earlier).
Check emails again before leaving work at 5pm when I'm supposed to.
Go to Wal-mart/grocery shopping and get GOOD foods (veggies and some fruits) and something for dinner.
Make a good dinner (no idea what just yet).
Do dishes.
Do some laundry (I got a load done this morning before leaving for work, yay!).
Play a bit of WoW.
Sleep early.
Possibly take a nice relaxing bath somewhere in between there.
Do wedding research somewhere in there (meeting with 2 of my bridesmaids and another friend who is the maid of honor for one of my bridesmaids on Monday -confused yet? - going to be discussing both our weddings so I want to figure out what questions and things I need. She has been planning a bit and he MOH got married a few years ago so they will have lots of ideas how to stay on budget).

I'm not sure the sleep early bit will happen but I shall try! Same with the wedding research, may leave that for tomorrow, but probably will get impatient and start looking at stuff like locations and things.

Anyways, time for lunch and productive work stuff!

Feeling good! Now to do some shopping, and possibly bubble bath before dinner when I get home. I feel sweaty and icky, and that's a good thing!
 
I sooo wouldn't get any exercise in if I had to do it after work!! I always exerciee first thing in the morning so its done and I don't have to think about it. I usually wake up pretty early though.

Sorry your week has sucked, hope it gets better!
 
Yeah I was trying first thing in the morning, but I always fall back to sleep after A leaves for work LOL. Usually works OK after work, it means A and I get home around the same time instead of me being home for 1-2 hours before he gets back.

141.5 this morning. YAY!!! SOO glad to see good movement again! Let's hope it keeps moving in that direction :)
I was starting to lose some motivation but that # has given me a reason to keep going and pushing myself and keep trying to eat better.
 
142.5 this morning. Ate dinner late so that's my excuse/reasoning lol. Going to a friends place today for wedding talk/planning YAY! But means I won't have much time to figure out dinner. There are 2 burger patties in the fridge, but I think I will leave both for A. I could eat the bowl of plain white rice but that doesn't seem overly appetizing. Could grab a small yogurt and eat that with the rice, and I just might. Or I'll make a salad, have lettuce, cucumber, and baby carrots. Just must go easy on the dressing.

There may be munchies today, and I'm sure I will eat some but will try not to eat a ton.

Since I will not be exercising today, I plan to the next 4 days to make up/catch up on the IcyStarCloud challenge. Only did 2 days last week and really hoping this week is NOT a repeat of that. That 141.5 was SO nice to see and I can't wait to hit the 130s!

Also in 2 weeks we have A's company outing where there will be a pool, and since it's no longer summer I don't think I will be able to find a new one-piece suit, so I have 2 bikini's to choose from. Gah! Or more likely I will avoid the pool all together :( I'm not a swimmer so really I'd only go into a hot tub anyways, not so much a pool. Still excited to get a day/night away though! Hopefully they have some good food choices. Which reminds me...need to book Winter in for boarding for that day/night.
 
You're doing so great! Your story is motivation for me so thanks for that. We have a similar time frame goal. I was 164.4 at my recorded highest (may have been higher at some point). I want to be 110-115 again. (weight I was when I got married) My mini goal though, is to be 137 by January 1st. :) I hope you reach your goal by then! Looks like you're heading well in the right direction. :)
 
I guess it's too late to give this advice, but anyways, it may have it's uses later on;

You should try having a quick, satisfying snack just before you go out. That way, you are less likely to eat the bad stuff out there, and if you do, you can't eat as much anyways.

A big bowl of salad is ideal, just be careful with what you add to it.

You can also eat a bit of fruit. I used to eat oranges all the time [Can't afford them on my current carb budget]. 2 big oranges (I'm assuming 180g each for the next example) have around;

42.4g of Carbs, 3.2g of Protein, 0.36g of Fat, 8.6g of Fiber, and 212 calories.

Some people like to satanize fruit, but, the way I see it, it is way better than other options such as bread, rice (Inc. brown rice), pasta, etc, you get my point.

TL;DR Try having a satisfying snack before going out. A big bowl of salad is ideal, but watch what you add to it. Alternatively, fruit is generally better than other carb options.

Athala: yeah the eating healthy plan went to hell. Will have to workout extra hard tomorrow. Had a 3pc chicken strip meal from DQ which included fries, coke, strawberry sundae. also had some Little Caesar's crazy bread. So bad but so good :(

So must wake-up early and make a salad for lunch with little dressing. Also must go super hard in my workout and possible even do 2 if I can. that might be too ambitious though.

was a good night tho! late but good. for some ideas and seems A's dad said June wedding so thinking June 7th which is weekend after my friends. that it the 14th. need to start calling for quotes and availability everywhere. becoming more real every day!!!
 
Trying to think of ways to get bikini ready by Oct 19th (about 10 days) and I think I have no chance :( But that's OK. Still gonna work my butt off. Gonna do the ISC (IcyStarCloud) challenge tonight, and the rest of this week as well (Wed-Fri) after work. That will be 3 for this week and 1 to make up for last week. Next week I shall try doing ISC Mon-Wed, then Thurs/Fri try something else. I kind of want to attempt the 1000 cal workout I found online. I think I would totally die trying but I kinda want to LOL.

Also need to add to my list (my very large and continuously growing list) to call Shaw...need to see if they would come and install 2 new connections and the cost for a new internet box. Then we could move stuff to the main floor and I could claim the basement for my workouts, and people can watch TV on the main floor, and our computers upstairs could get hardwired internet and not keep dropping connections when playing games. Actually I'm gonna check online for that right now!

Then to call the vet and get Winter more shots so she can go to boarding when we go out of town. And then do some actual work, then get a list of things to ask the halls when I call them (like if we must use their catering service, if we can bring our liquor, if we can use our own unlicensed bartender, and of course cost etc), and then start calling some halls, and applying for new jobs. Wow so much to do! AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!
 
Oh I forgot to mention, 143 this morning :( Starting to wonder if the 141.5 was water weight or fluctuation :( Very crappy.

I just wanted to stop by and say you're doing a wonderful job! Its great how far you've come already and you're well on your way to reaching your goal. Don't worry about the little ups and downs; just keep at it and everything will work out! And if you're feeling crappy... try some fiber! :p (lame attempt at a joke)

But seriously, the world is against me! My fiance is on antibiotics and we think they may not be reacting well for him. He was throwing up this morning and got sent home from work. I was hoping to get a workout in but I think when I'm off in 30 minutes that I will go straight home to tend to him. He is hungry but scared to eat/drink and doesn't know what he wants to eat, nor did he call the doctor to let them know of the side effects of him throwing up and get their opinion on what to do. Initially he only took 2 pills in the morning I think, but yesterday he took 2 at night as well (which is what he is supposed to do) so not sure if the doctor will tell him to lower the dose or stop it completely or what. He hates talking on the phone, when he is sick even more so. So much for my workout plan AGAIN this week :( But he is more important and getting him better is more important. Will see what I can do at home but I doubt I will do anything.

SO FRUSTRATING! :cuss:

Hopefully FBIL isn't home and I can get on the Kinect which I still haven't done. Otherwise perhaps I'll just pace around on the main floor and walk up/down the stairs or clean. Cleaning would be productive...
 
Hey Icy ......Take it one day at a time........I know wedding planning is making you crazy busy...I have been there and to top it off we had evrything planed for mid august and in march I found out I was expecting a baby so we had to replan everything for may 3 months to plan....you can do it!
