First I would like to say the wedding went great. There were some hiccups and I have a few regrets but in the end we can't change it and everyone says they had a great time and loved the food so what more could we ask for?
Since I got married 2 weeks ago I have decided a new fresh start diary is in order. I weighed in today at 131 which needless to say did not impress me. After the honeymoon I felt like I gained back all the weight I lost and while I'm not back to my August weight, I'm not doing good.
I will still be busy for a bit - need to go through our wedding pictures to see which ones we want to print and put in an album, and if there are additional ones we want to get edited. We also need to write out all the thank you card and mail those off, and there are a select few I want to call for an extra thank you for extra help they gave us through the planning process and the day of. And we are still working on the backyard but I think we will have more time on our hands now.
The plan: stop eating out (though we do have some gift cards for dining that will be used eventually), start planning healthy meals, start walking the dog more, and start exercising. I'm not overly confident but I know I can do this if I really try and really want it. I was starting to like how my body was looking and now I'm back to hating it and feeling fat and I don't like it.
It is not going to be easy, this I know. I will likely still allow myself some alcohol and junk food and pop but will again be trying to cut it back and go with the healthier choices. The biggest thing I need to remember is that this is not a diet, this is a lifestyle change and a permanent thing so I need to keep make small changes and good decisions every day. I know A supports me on this and hopefully we can work through it together.
