I used to be 250lbs and I am 5"7. I started to do some exercises 2 years ago when my doctor said to me that he's going to give me a high blood pressure tablet or I lose some weight. I choose to lose my weight.
Through that 2 years I achieved a lot of things from finishing Half-Marathon to Full-Marathon, doing few Triathlons and so on. Now, I want to finish my first IRONMAN end of this year in Australia. IRONMAN is a long distance triathlon that double the distance than a normal Triathlon FYI. My plan was to do this year but I have to cancel due to commitment (family) and within 5 months of doing nothing only eating, I gain my weight back to around 220lbs which my lowest peak was approximately 187lbs. Yup, living in Asia is the most difficult part to avoid those delicious food but thats no excuse
Here I am going to share my journey to become an IRONMAN and along this journey is to lose my target weight.
Basically my routine exercise is going to be Swim, Bike and Run which I usually do in sequence. This week is more like a 'base' training which is to regain my fitness level heheh and maybe the first 2 months I will be concentrating on burning calories rather than distance I attempt.
My training log so far:
April 2010 :
My weight as in Mon 5/04/2010 100 kg
5/04/2010
6/04/2010
Swim 600mtrs
7/04/2010
Weight before run 100.4kg and after 99.7kg
Noon Swim 700m
8/04/2010
Noon Swim 1km
10/04/2010
10/04/2010
Wish me luck guys..
