I Want The Truth Pls

ive been fasting for about 15-20 days i still have like 10-15 more days to fast i want to know have i lost alot of muscle?
pls pls be as brutal as u can

Hard to tell from the pics... you don't look much different to me. You lost weight in your chest which could be muscle or fat.

What do you mean you are "fasting"?

its a religious thing when u dont drink or eat ANYTHING from like 5am to 7pm, at the end of the day u have no energy to lift weights :*(

I dont think you have lost any fat. just a bit of muscle and some water.

this is why fasting is a stupid idea and after being with us for 10 months you should know better.

its not stupid its religious and scientifically proven to strenght ur organs and recover ur cillia

jus one thing would it take a long time to get my muscle back, remember i still have 15 more days to fast

Screw the muscle. The damage it does to the metabolism is what I would be concerned with. But both things can be corrected rather easily, so I would not sweat it.

I really apologize. I didnt realise it was for your religion.

However its not good for you. Have you been weight training?

not during fasting , i cant, i tried curling 7.5kg (normally i do 15kg ea arm) i did like 10 reps and i was about to die

Well it seems like there is no way out of it. Just write of the month and start training when its over.

Can you consume anything at all? water?

I'm not giving my views on religion here, I believe religion can be a great thing I'm just telling you about my friend. He is a Muslim but does not fast at ramadan. He gives up on all 'nice foods' and drink. so he wont eat food for pleasure, like beer, and unhealthy snacks. He believes that his god understands and the traditon of fasting was created before we knew what was healthy for our bodies. He still eats to stay healthy and believes that is what his god would want him to do.

Again - I would like to stress that I'm not trying to offend anyone, I'm just putting it out there. I dont want this to turn in to a debate on religion.

i understand it r lewis u are jus giving me advice
i can eat ANYTHING i want at 7pm -5am then i cannot take ANYTHING in at 5am - 7pm
the the truth is i dont actually get thirsty or hungry :S i might do at like 6:50 never before though

yea u def look thinner in the chest and a lil in the stomach , what religion thats interesting.. haha @ your quote GGgGGG UNOTT!!!! <---hate 50 cent and gunit and rotten apple sucks :p

Just work hard and enjoy the ride. This is a journey, not a destination. I have a torn hamstring right now and have lost some size.....I can't wait to get it back.

I fast too... and don't see any negative effect on my weight or muscle.
just change your training schedule and eating times for this month, it's no big deal man.. :D

A month away from lifting during ramadan may well become a good trigger for growth once your fasting ends.
