I want one of these as a pet!

Unless you are positive you can deal with birds don't get one. Having a cockatiel, conure, or whatever parrot is a pain in the butt. My boyfriend has a conure and all it does is **** everywhere and scream when it wants a pecan.
If I was one of those people sitting on some huge lottery money I might be tempted to pay people 50 bucks to set the flippin birds loose or somethin. However how would the free birds be able to fend for themselves given that the've been in captivity for so long?

Its like one of those proggies where you see a born-in-captivity tiger or lion being taught how to "catch prey" by humans - chase a dead gazelle tied to a landrover. Its so sad as the tiger was probably orphaned by poachers who wanted to sell its folks skins.
