Next year I'm going to be a freshman at the University of Tampa majorring Exercise Science. When I get out of college I want to become a PT and/or dietitian.
I've only been working out for 8 months, but I have really gotten hooked, and now I want to keep myself in shape and help others achieve the physique of their dreams.
I want to become a very good PT, not one of the many bs fake PT's out there. In fact, I'd love to gain a big reputation as a very good PT and I would really like to help change people's lives so long as they listen. I was wonderring if there's anything I could do during my summer which could help towards becoming a good PT. Also what should I be doing in college while taking PT.
As for course selection, what should I really focus on in exercise science? There's so many different classes including sports management and marketing, selling in sports, coaching a team sport, coaching an individual sport, training an athlete, injury prevention, nutrition, weight training, first aid, medicine, pharmacy and so much more... the list just goes on and on, I'm really stuck as to what subjects to pick
