I hope I can....

Leftovers have been great at helping me to avoid eating fast food on workdays. Really enjoying packing my lunch these days -- saves money too.

I have been enjoying it too. I get home, make dinner, then make my lunch for the next day and pack for the gym. It's been a good routine so far. I can't be expected to prep it all in the morning, I literally get up 10 mins before I need to head for the gym. If I have to get up earlier I won't, then I wont go to the gym and I won't eat healthy food that day, it would be a baddddddd thing.

So I got a new digital scale..... :( It says I weigh more then my other scale, at first it was like 5 pounds more then it calibrated and was only like 2 lbs more, made me sad, but I am trying to not let it get to me.

Just remember, while it says you weigh 2lbs more than before you really don't. It just means you started your journey at a higher weight than you thought but you've still lost the same. And besides, keep doing what you are doing and those 2 lbs, AND MORE, will be gone in no time :)

I haven't given up, just been a bit too busy with work, holidays, and i got sick.

Lost track for a bit over the holidays, but I didn't lose focus, tried to not go too over board, but gained back a pound or so, but I think I have already lost it.. :) Yay!

Back to the forum!!

I was a bit worried they would, but I told myself don't go crazy or you just did all the work for nothing and you'll have to change your current weight on the forum!! lol - that was gonna make me upset. I don't want to change my weight in the signature unless it is down. lol

Oh oh oh!! I found something I love. English muffin pizzas!! 100 cal muffin low cal cheese and a nice sauce. Soooooo... Yummy! I am a pizza lover, so trying this and liking it is a huge success. I had two muffins and it was a bit under 400 calories, and filling.

The new challenge has me excited to stay on track as well as I kind of broke a weight barrier that I had been stagnating around, 224. With the holidays I went up a bit and needed to lose those pounds and then I had a few days where I didn't go hog wild but I ate more than i would have liked, so I was just kind of there for a while.

Now, I am at 221.8, so not only am i excited I dropped I mean that's always exciting, I am excited, I am almost to my first weight loss goal of 25 lbs which would be a weight of 220.

Next Weight Loss goal, is to be 200 lbs

Welcome back! I'm glad you did well over the holidays too. I totally threw in the towel and put on quite a few pounds, but I'm already almost back to my low so it's all good.

I LOVE english muffin pizzas too! So tasty and very easy to make.

Keep up the good work! You'll be below 220 before you know it. :)

We all have our low moments, it's getting back on the horse that matters, so great job!!

In the old days, I would have just quit, been like well… Guess the diets over. The forum has helped me learn a few things with dealing with that.

I spoke with my sister last night and she does a class on Saturday that's an hour long, its $8.00 it's got kick boxing, as well as a bunch of other stuff, she said very fast paced and intense. The way she described it was similar to a Insanity video. It's at 8:00 in the morning, I am looking forward to it, it will get me to work out better on the weekends. By Saturday I just can't go to the gym for a 6th day in a row, it's boring. This will give me a day off from the typical gym routine as well as a good workout.

Sounds like a good idea to mix things up. I did the same over the weekend too. I'm a Taebo addict, but on Saturday I put Billy Blanks away and am now trying Jillian Michaels. It's a great workout, but man am I sore! I hope you find it to be fun. Sounds like it should be. :)

Oh my, Billy Blanks, I haven't heard that name in ages!! When I was a kid, that used to be my mom's go to work out. I bet she still has those VHS, I should grab those from her.

I like Jillian Michael's a lot, I felt like I got a good all over work out.

Heya, Hollybelle, I just read your thread and I have to say, you're doing really well! It can be so hard to make it through the days, but my new motto is "one day at a time". It's so worth it when we hit our goal (I did several times). You just have to remember to stay on track, and if you slip up, don't get upset! I would get upset and I left the forum a few times because of my guilt.

Stay at it and you'll hit your goal :)!

Yeah, I've been doing Taebo will Billy for almost a year now. I think he's much more motivational than Jillian. She's kind of blah with how she talks, but my body feels it so I'm going to stick it out. At some point I need to learn to motivate myself anyway. :) If you want to try Taebo there are tons of free full length workouts on Youtube. That's how I'm doing the 30DS right now too, but I don't see level 2 there so I'll need to buy it.

Youtube, huh? I hadn't even thought of that! I am going to check that out.

Jillian is a little bland, I had Insanity for a while, Shawn T definitely got me pumped up, I think Billy B is similar in that way!

Well, after my disappointment yesterday on the scale, today I am feeling good, out of the blue I was told that I look "Amazing". It really lifted me up, and made me feel like my hard work is paying off. For a brief moment I started to be negative "Im 220 pounds how can I look amazing?" but then I shut myself up. No one says that for no reason, even though I may not be dropping the pounds like I like I want, I am still dropping weight and someone noticed. I didn't let myself be negative and made me happy! :)

Getting compliments are often better than the scale telling you something because the scales don't tell the whole story. And it's just great when others notice. You are doing awesome! 25lbs lost, great job!! Keep at it :)

And Loch has great advice - One day at a time. If you have a bad day don't quit, because you can work past that. Quitting means you will never reach your goal while falling and getting back up simply means it will take longer than you hoped, but you WILL get there. Keep at it!

Lost two pounds this week, really excited about it because it puts me in the teens and out of the twenties, thirties, or forties!!! I feel like this weight loss thing is a mind game for me, being in the teens, makes 200 seem reachable, and helps me stay positive.
