Haven't popped in for a while so just wanted to say hi, keep up the good work and exercise and thanks for being such a good motivation for me to carry on.

Hi everyone, this is Danny (Holly's husband) and she wanted me to come online to make sure you all knew she was alive and she wanted me to say something about a challenge (?). She has been a little under the weather all week and after getting worse last night I took her to the doctor. She has an inner ear infection (makes her dizzy) and laryngitis. After taking a dose of nyquil she tried to instruct me on what to say here but, giving nyquil to Holly is like giving 5 shots of tequilla to a ten year old. Anyway, thanks to all of you who have helped Holly along the way in losing weight. I'm sure she will be back online in a few days.
 
Thanks so much for letting us know Danny ( I feel like I know you. lol) If you read this please tell her that OHD is sending BUNCHES of get well soon wishes her way and I'm missing her like CRAZY!

like a baby, I see what my kids go through when they get an ear

Only One Pound

Hello! Do you know me?
If you don't, you should. I'm a pound of fat.
And I am the happiest pound of fat that you would ever want to meet.
Want to know why?
It's because no one ever wants to lose me;
I'm ONLY ONE POUND, just a pound!
Everyone wants to lose three pounds, five pounds, or fifteen pounds, but never only one.
So I just stick around and happily keep you fat.
Then I add to myself, ever so slyly, so that you never seem to notice it.
That is until I've grown to ten, twenty, thirty or even more pounds in weight.
Yes, it's fun being ONLY ONE POUND OF FAT, left to do as I please.
So, when you weigh in, keep right on saying, "Oh, I only lost one pound."
(As if that were such a terrible thing)
For you see, if you do this, you'll encourage others to keep me around because they'll think I'm not worth losing.
And, I love being around you - your arms, your legs, your chin, your hips and every part of you.

What a relief knowing you are okay, more or less. Stupid ear infection!!! And thanks on the tip on the nyquil working as a substitute for tequilla, sitting here wondering how many calories I'll save on that one:) No, just kidding. Well, I hope you feel better soon.
 
Ear infections are a BEAST! I had a sinus infection turn into one once....thought I was gonna die AND I had to keep caring for my little one, and while she was sympathetic and very good to Mommy still expected to be fed. :p :p *ouchy at the memories*

Hope you're feeling better today girlie! We've got some major goofing off to do when you get back! :D
 
So I went to the doctor today because I still wasn't feeling 100% and now I have bronchitis. fun. Hopefully I will be back to chatting up a storm by the end of the week. :(

Oh no! You can't catch a break can ya? Follow Dr's orders and take care of yourself! I'm sure Danny is taking good care of you too. While I miss you to pieces I don't want you worrying about getting on here...you rest. I'll still be plenty silly when you return! :D
