Rubber Duckie- That's exactly how I am going to look at it! Tomorrow is a new day and the first day of my fresh start to kick some butt!!

Ok... went to to Outback Steakhouse... not good. I ate some of that onion blossom a little bit of salad, some bread, my vegetables and some mashed potatoes! I was so full I couldn't eat my chicken... hahaha. I'm going to pay for this tomorrow aren't I? ;) Glad there are no more Birthdays between now and my parents arrival!! It was different... haha. I didn't talk to that guy for a month! When i got there my friend Shylo was like ok Luis tell her what you did... it was down hill from there!! My obsession was well known!!! I did however see Catherine Zeta Jones. I also met Jeffery Katzenberg (not sure how to spell that). Under Dreamworks it says SKG and he is the K! haha. Anyway, I guess that's what happens when you live in the LA area... you meet a lot of famous people who you don't care about but the ONE time the one you love comes by... NOTHING!!!!

From LA to Louisiana...wow, I'll bet that was culture shock!

Go burn those calories!!!! You burn calories and you burn calories, and you... ok, I'll stop now! :p :p

I think it's totally different when you're homeschooling. Homework is such an emormous added pressure to the life of the family - The kids have been at school 6 hours+ with a high percentage of their time wasted (ie crowd management issues, passing out papers, etc) that if so much of my daily time was wasted, and I had to come home and do more work that should be able to be finished in the classroom - I would be a cranky kid too ;)

I don't know about anywhere else in the country, but our Pick Up lines after school to get the kids, takes almost an hour.

I don't have the patience for *that* ;)

I think when you homeschool, you look at things differently, and a lot of the typical parent struggles that go with a school life, just isn't there.

Obviously, it's not for everyone - but it is feels like a calmer, more peaceful existence then my friends who school their kids.

:)

Definately!! I like the cheaper prices for things here though :D If my husband and I lived in the same area I lived in California there is NO WAY we would have been able to buy a house at our age and there's definately no way we would have found one on a acre of land!! So, small town life has its benefits! No traffic... cheaper gas stuff like that :D

Walk- 6 miles
Stationary bike- 30 min

My mother in law and I walked SO fast today!! I'm so proud of us... we really picked up the pace!
