i have to finish what i've started part 2

Wow HF - What a GREAT shopping trip!! Great deals and congratulations on the smaller size!!

Back when I wore a size 20, I had no idea that Old Navy sold any, so I didn't shop there except for quick run throughs for Megan. I went in yesterday and tried on 3 pairs of jeans and one jean skirt. All size 14's. The jeans all fit too low on my hips (I like mid rise, not low rise) but they all fit, one pair was a little too tight in the thighs and the size 14 skirt was way too loose - the girl told me I needed a 12 - I just about fell over!

There is something WONDERFUL about shopping again isn't there? ;)

Look at you!! Getting 12's! I LOVE IT! :D :D

Hey Hf,

I totally agree with OHD, nice image with the kid at christmass, very fitting:)
Can't stop smiling here! I am so happy for you. I hope you have a great day, though it might be pretty hard to beat yesterday:) (That shouldn't stop you for trying though lol)

Thanks Heidi an DQ!!!! :)

M2M- a size 14 or 12 is awesome!!! My goal size for myself is a 12 so I'm loving that you are already there!!

Ohappydaye- Thanks for dancing so hard that you hurt yourself! haha The lady at the dressing room tried to stop me but I flew by her haha. I was like my purse is in the changing room what do you think I'm going to do!! haha

Mahatt- I will try to beat yesterday...haha. Not sure how though!

Oh, HF - very exciting!!
As for sizes, it's so hard to say because everything fits so differently, so with the 4 items from old navy I took in, 1 was too tight in the thighs, 1 was entirely too big and 2 were just right. So much for sizing ;) I know I'm right about the weight that I grew 'out' of 14's back in 1990, so unless things have changed drastically in the last 16 years (aside from the height of the waist band) ;) It's keeping in line with where I was.

I'm loving trying on clothes, but it has to be a GREAT deal (like the ones you got) for me to actually buy any! LOL!

You have a good day!!

YAY!!!!!!!! *HAPYY DANCE* WOW!!!!! I am super Happy for you. You and M2M have inspired me to the max. Now on my siggy I am going to have a Goal of my own Pant size.

Have a GREAT size 16 Pant's DAY!!!!!

Thanks JellyBelly!

Been cleaning ALL day!! My whole house smells like bleach! haha. I had to open all the windows to air it all out becasue I was starting to feel light headed. Oh well, at least I'm burning calories!! :)

Oh girl, I wish someone would come clean MY house ;)

If you lived near me I would come over to clean in a heart beat! I actually LOVE to clean. I have no idea why most believe it's a sickness. haha So, if you ever move to northern Louisiana let me know! ;)

LOL! You're too funny!

I'm neurotic, and have over the years learned to let go of that cleaning bug - and now Bob cleans our bathroom, Megan cleans her - I only vacuum if it REALLY bugs me, but my kitchen - that HAS to stay clean - that and I hate to have laundry piling up.

My kitchen is never dirty!! I can't handle that!! I vacume at least once a day. I have a dog and two cats... it's just what needs to be done. :D I know that when I have kids I will have to let go of some of this crazy but for now I can clean all day if I want. haha. We have two bathrooms and I actually use a completely different bathroom than Danny... I just can't deal with it yet. hahahaha.

Yep - you sound like me! Or at least the preMom me ;)

I vacuumed every day, there was a place for EveryThing and EveryThing was in its place.

Then I had a kid (and two dogs, two cats & two fish).

Kids drool...did you know that?
I didn't.
They can drool buckets as they're crawling all over the house!

So then I was shampooing the carpets once a week.

Now - she's almost 10, doesn't drool anymore, but the actual cleaning craziness has just become so less important.

I used to even iron our sheets.

I was ill ;)

OMG I iron my sheets!!

Well see, there ya go - it's an illness, but it can go away ;)

I used to say how much I LOVED to crawl into bed with crisp cool, well ironed sheets. Now I'm happy if they're simply clean ;)

I've learned to let a lot of stuff go!

Thanks PaPrincess!

M2M- I guess I should face it now... my illness will have to go away before I have kids so I don't go crazy! haha ;)

I'm tired today. I am going to do some more deep cleaning in a bit. Yesterday when Danny came home he said our house smelled like a hospital! hahaha... :)

No, you don't need to face it now - time will cure you ;)

No, you don't need to face it now - time will cure you ;)

That's good! I tried not making my bed this morning to see if I could be "messy" and it hurt. I had a bit of an attack and just decided to wash all my bedding! haha

Oh HF - there are some things you just can't let go of.
I make my bed before I pee in the morning. It's literally the first thing I do when I stand up.

God help Bob if he's still in bed when I wake up ;)

Besides - Monday is sheet washing day!
