I have offically hit my lowest point

6 weeks later 21lbs less, lets see whats changed

1. What is your current height and weight?4 ft 11. 220lbs (15 stone 10lbs)

2. If you were at an ideal weight now, what would that weight be?
id like to be 10 stone but i have to be realistic and just see how far i can get

3. At what weight would you like to be at four months from now?
14 stone

4. Why do you want to lose weight?
i have lost 21lbs and feel great and i want to continue feeling great

5. Do you want to lose weight for a specific life event such as wedding or reunion? If so, when is that event?
i have a hen night in august and a wedding in october that id like to be not wobbly for:biggrinjester:

6. What obstacles could get between you and your weight loss goals?
Motivation. not getting the loss i expect etc

7. Why do you think that you now have a weight problem?
i always ignored it, i reliased that. i remember i used to look in the mirror and think "oh well" how unhealthy is that!!

8. What lifestyle changes do you think would help you lose weight?
Diet changes. exercise

9. Have you lost weight in the past? If so, what has worked in the past to help you lose weight?
pretty much what im doing now

10. Why do you believe that you did not lose weight or you gained the weight back?
forgetting how miserable i was when i was at my heaviest.

12. Would you try writing down all food and drink consumed for a given period of time?
im doing that, and yes it takes about 15 minutes longer to prepare a meal but its worth it

13. Do you cook at home often? If so, what do you cook?
Yes. Everything.

14. How often do you go out to eat? Where do you go?
v rarely maybe a bday or annivsery

15. What are your three favorite foods?
cheese
pasta
mushy peas

16. What are your three favorite restaurants?
dont really have any

17. What are three things you can do differently when it comes to food?
Limit portion size.
Eating more veggies
Eating more fruits

18. If you woke up tomorrow and your body was exactly the way you want it, what would be different?
everything

19. Do you eat when you are not hungry?
yes im not working atm(recession booo!) and i get bored

20. Do you binge eat (large amounts at a time)?
yes- thats my downfall

21. Do you hide your food or eat in secret?
No.

22. Do you eat when you are sad, nervous, or depressed?
yes

23. Do you eat as a reward?
yes

24. Do you eat while watching TV or using the computer?
yes i still do but now i make sure i exercise in the morning so that i can watch a bit of telly without feeling guilty lol

25. What do you normally eat for a meal?
now i have chicken salads, soups, fish and boiled veg, etc

26. What type of snacks do you eat?
i have diet bars and rice cakes

27. In terms of exercise, what, if anything, are you currently doing?
walking and tredmill

28. Where do you go for exercise? A local public gym? School/work gym? n/a

29. What, if anything, are your three favorite types of exercise?
i like light jogging- swimming

30. What is your daily/weekly/monthly/yearly motivation to move towards your goals?
Weight Loss is the only goal right now.

31. Do you have rewards for certain goals?
when i have lost 30lbs im going to treat myself to a new hair do

You should be happy with your 2 lb weight loss! Even if your sister lost the same amount and didn't exercise, it sounds like she's just starting and when you just start you lose it pretty easy at first and then you need to put in effort.

I'd gladly take your 2 lbs! I've been working out really hard myself (at least an hour every day, with one day rest) and in 2 weeks I've only lost 1.4 lbs! So it really sucks! So I can understand the frustration for sure.

What we need to remember is that it took time to put it on, it'll take time to take it off and we need to be proud about every change we make and every little pound that comes off!

sorry was away had a family crisis.

I am down another pound so 22lbs down altogether

2lbs to go to my 1st goal:)

also got measured and ive lost 24 inches off my whole body

yay!!

bumped into a couple i know that i have not seen since december 09 and they both said id lost some load of weight, so im happy- at least its noticable now:)
 
well i weighed myself today and i am down FOUR POUNDS!!!!

Theres a bloody shock i tell ya, not that im complaining ha ha

I have passed my patricks day goal 2 weeks ahead of schedule ha ha yay!!!

2 pounds left and i have lost 2 stone

i am a v happy bunny:)
 
well i am on my diet and exercise routine for 2 months, been looking through my thread and i cant believe how miserable i was. i am going out (1st time this year) with the girls in 2 weeks and I CANT WAIT!!!! Normally when i go out i feel fat and have nothing to wear

Now im excited, trying to decide what to wear etc. It amazing what losing 26 pounds can do for your confidence:)

You are really doing so well! Congrats on all your weight loss and I'm glad that you're happier now :) It's great that you're going out and feeling great! I can't wait until you get to hit your 2 stone loss and I'm sure you can't either ;)
 
Congrats on the Amazing weight loss. Wow 26 pounds must feel so good!!! I remember back in 06 when I had lost 22 pounds and I felts so much better!!!! You are an inspiration!!!!
 
Don't worry, it's bound to happen, especially with your amazing weight loss. My weight loss isn't so amazing and it's happened a couple times (it's even went up!) lol... just keep going and don't give up, the scale will follow!
 
Many things can affect the numbers on the scale tom or water retention have you made mesurments? Sometimes the scale doesn't move but when you mesure yourself you see results, some people swear by picture too I didn't do the pics yiet I am kind of talking myself into it....just don't give up you have come such a long way you just have to keep on working hard!
 
oh theres no way im stopping, members of my family who didnt even know i was on a diet are saying how well i look, im nearly a size 18 again and i was bursting out of size 22 jeans when i started:coolgleamA:

theres a pair of jeans that wouldnt go around my stomach 6 weeks ago that im wearing now and are loose on me:) im so bloody happy i could scream. i cant believe i let myself get so fat:cuss:
 
It's sooo good that you've gone down all those sizes!

Don't feel bad about letting yourself get to the weight you did because you can't change the past, however you can be so proud of yourself for trying to fix it! It's definitely not easy and you're progressing beautifully!

im not sure- i only started off to lose the extra weight i had put up in the year which was about 2 and a half stone, id like to be the weight i was when i first met my partner which was 11 stone so thats 4stone 3lbs away :blush5:
