I have offically hit my lowest point

Well Done!

Hi Irish Gal, another Irish Gal here, but up North. Well done you on that great first week. I just joined here today, feeling exactly the same as your first post, been dieting as long as I can remember. I lost 4 pounds last week but have joined the forum for support and motivation. My doc has given me Xenical to help me on my way, hopefully that will help. Well done again and lets both try to keep up the good work this time!

Just found out fre minutes ago my friends hen partys on 28th Aug. so im hoping to be 190lbs by then.

Thats a healthy enough weight loss i think

45lbs in 8 months

That sounds healthy. That just over 5 pounds a month which is perfectly fine! I'm sure you'll look awesome by her party :D

Another Irish gal checking in. I will follow you because like you I lost and gained back. I'm aiming for 75 lbs off by august 14 for a friends wedding. That's just over 10 lbs a month which is ambitious but since I'm exercising now and never had done before I hope it'll speed up my metabolism and fat burning.

Good luck to us all!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggggggggggggggghhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

OMG OMG OMG

I have lost another FOUR POUNDS

Im so happy i could cry
- 10 pounds in two weeks:) yay!!:hurray:

In foreign affairs, events tend to be reciprocal. Part of International Relations Protocol, is that leaders of nations have to be protected. Otherwise, it is open season on your president too and perhaps everone that surrounds him, and the defensive nations tend to become a lot more unstable (like Germany did in 1914) when psychologically damaging events occur.

Yeah it's true! Losing a few pounds makes you feel like you're already fit! lol... at least for me I'm like, damn I'm so much fitter... when in reality it's only slightly so, lol.

How long does it take to see results, in general? Like, I lost 6.5 last week and I was (probably naively) expecting to see some change and didnt!

Anyway, good luck and keep up the good work!! :D :D :D

You know, in my personal experience, I didn't really see much change. I mean my rolls got smaller, but I still had the same rolls. My back fat was almost gone so that was really noticeable. However my arms/thighs/stomach still looked the same to me just because I still had the same rolls in a smaller size. So what my focus on this time will be not only to lose weight but try and get fit and have a nice lean body!

On the other hand, now that I've gained back 40 pounds I definitely notice a huge change! I can see how much worse it is than it was. So I think it was partly my perspective of myself that I hadn't really seen much change in my body. So maybe this time around I'll notice the changes more.

One good thing to do is take pictures and measurements. With those two things it's hard to deny the changes especially when you see where you've started and that you definitely don't look like that anymore!
