I have a year, help

You would die at %1 bodyfat. %3 for males is the lowest and at that level you probably won't have a whole lot of muscle unless your on roids and/or a genitc freak.

You want success? You have to read.

Diet, weight training and cardio.

Yeah, 1% body fat is nuts. You have fat everywhere. You even have fat cushoning your viceral parts. Losing fat, ect., takes TIME, determination, hard effort, and a good attitude. (All I have is determination lol.. -_-'')

Anyways, like newf said, he's absolutely correct.

Your diet is the problem. You should get WAY more calories. Figure out your daily intake . Your thinking, eat less and weigh less but you need to fuel your body better or your body stores every meal as fat. Aim for at least 2000-2500 a day.

Fruit is barely any calories, it falls into the category of missing breakfast.
"If you think skipping breakfast is a good way to drop a few pounds, you're completely wrong. A healthy breakfast actually improves your chances of controlling your weight. Studies have shown that people who skip breakfast are nearly twice as likely to be overweight."

Okay, so why do you want to do this by Oct 31, 2006? Do you wanna be Conan the Barbarian or He-Man or something? Perhaps the Hulk, but the Hulk kind of looses the effect if you don't see a mild-mannered Bruce Banner become the Incredible Hulk when someone cuts him off in traffic.

well sorry if i offended u but i've never heard of a weight requirement to join anything and i do know a few ppl that are in the miliatary and i have never heard them talk about this b4. anyway good luck.

Not fishy unless you consider military academies to be fishy.

I'm not eating that way because I want to loose weight, but because thats how I've generally eaten always. But I guess I'll change it.

Just hang around here dude and ask specific questions. We can help but i don't think anyone will spoon feed you. Fitness like most things it can get pretty complicated. Try to get the basics.

Learn how many calories you need a day, cleanup your diet, counts calories and get a decent weight training program.

Right now I ride my bike about 10-15 miles per day and lift weights every other day. Diet is fruit for breakfast, fruit and vegetables for lunch, and light - medium dinner (some meat, usually vegetables with a little meat).

You wanna get to 10-15% body fat. I think some one may be telling lil fibs. If you really did eat like that and ride you bike that much and lift weights, you would already have a pretty low BF% already.

What exactly do you need to get to? What requirements have this college given you? seems strange they would require you to have mass and a low BF%, when normally they want you to be able to run, so far with a time limit and be able to do so many body weight exersises inside a time limit.

Take it easy guys. I know the requirement story sounds awkward, but that's not the main focus here.

The reason why you aren't losing weight is indeed your diet.

Your body has adjusted itself to your low calorie intake, because it's getting so little nourishment. In other words, your metabolism has slowed down a lot = burning less calories. I'm having the same problem. I eat normally now, but I'm gaining weight bc my metabolism has gotten so slow.

First of all if i were you remember that you can't gain muscle and lose fat at the same time (i say this all the time i know). So if i were you i'd bulk up and gain as much weight and muscle as i can for about 8 months then leave the four months after that to cut away all the excess fat whilst maintaining the muscle mass you gained then your goals are done. Much easier said than done though
