Hi I would like to begin by introducing myself. You can call me D if Ivorhrey is too hard to rememeber.
I'm 26 years old. I live in Washington State. I have decided that now is the time to loose this weight. I am currently at 240 lbs, and would like to be around 140 - 150. I have a lot of weight to loose and this time no fad diets to see me through a few months just to gain the weight back and then some. This time I'm doing it right. I am eating smaller portions of healthier things and I am going to the gym 5 - 6 nights a week. I spend an hour every night doing cardio, then weight training, and when that's all over I hit the pool for about 12-20 laps, depending on how tired I am after my work out. One night a week I do a Hip Hop aearobic dance class that I absolutely love!
I just feel like my life is going by too fast to not do something about my weight now. I've never been skinny although I am at my heaviest now than ever. I've never rocked some cute little clothes or a 2 peice swimming suit. Sometimes I feel bad about how I look and won't go out to the club with my man because everyone around me looks cute and happy and I'm not. I just want to be healthy and have fun as a healthy fit person. I don't have any kids yet and refuse to have any until I loose this weight.
I have lost a good amount of weight in the past. I hit 238 in High School and worked really hard to get down to 179. I gained it all back + some. So this time I know what I need to do to get to where I want to be, I just need to complete my journey and reach my goal, and learn to maintain. Some how I need to find a way to succeed. I have tried about 5 different diets in the past 6 years and they have all failed, or more like, I have failed at all of them. Not this time. This time it will be a way of life for me. I have a choice, and I choose to reach my goal and be happy with myself.
