This girl is from Georgia and was recently on CNN about her transformation over a 2-3 year period.

Here is her story..I simply find it amazing what she did and I thought I would share the article with you guys.

No it is not spam, but I just think she is amazing.

She flat ROCKS.....woman after my own heart......"patter, patter" ( :) )......and tough too.......one has to be to lose all that weight with the amount of work that needs to be done!........

I like tough women!.....They rock!
 
Wow, what an inspirational story, and she looks great in the after picture. You can't even tell that she lost all of that weight to begin with.
 
Did you spot the wedding ring on her finger in those pictures? That means some lucky bugger married her when she was fat and now has a stunner of a wife

I'm such a superficial pig :)
 
I emalied her, ahe had a tummy tuck because all the extra skin, but the rest is all natural between diet and exercise.

Nice lady, Yep, she is hot now, good for her.
 
Great inspiration. Wonderful story!

One thing she hit on that is so incredibly true: the change has to start in your head....it's a decision you just have to make. When you change your mind, the body will follow.

I wish I had some "before" pictures....I'm 75%-80% through my journey as it is. Like many heavy people, I was very good at avoiding the camera and what did get through found the delete button pretty quickly.

Again, GREAT STORY!!!!!

i don't like the fact that she went to Gold's ... mostly meat-heads, but other than that, my favorite part is that there is no mention of those fad diets ... just personal motivation. it's the only way to do it.

Just goes to show with a lot of will power, hard work and dedication, anything can be achieved, and one should never ever give up on their hope for a better self image.
 
I totally agree w/ her, once you get your mind on board, there's not stopping ya from reaching your goals.

Unfortunately for me, I've lost my mind! Knew I shouldn't go around giving people pieces of my mind!
 
I remember that story. I'm an avid news junky. Her story was amazing enough that I remembered it. She is nothing less of AWESOME.
