I'm not quite sure where I should be posting this but because this is the main section of the forum that I post on I figured I'd post it here.

In my last post I advised I was working towards making a career in modelling and I had a meeting with a potential modelling agency on Wednesday.....well everyone I did it...I went to my meeting and they openly accepted me.

With all the help I have found on this forum and although I have only been working out for about 2 months, I feel that this has all been a huge contributor to my recent success.

I still have a bit more to go to reach my total goal but this has been a huge insentive to keep going. I've managed to finally live up to my dream of continuing my modelling career and this is to show everyone that if you have the dedication and the thrive to do something, don't wait for it to come to you... because it may not happen.

Take a dive, take a gamble and give it all you've got, if you don't have it to start with, you have nothing to loose.

Once again I want to thank everyone that has answered my posts and help me out with the questions that I had. This isn't the last you'll hear of me as I still have lots to do and I'll still be reading posts everynight I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to everyone.....it just goes to show that a little help in the right direction can help in the biggest way possible.
 
Congratulations! But I must inform you, this post is worthless without pictures :p lol, just kidding.

Great work! And great attitude! The secret is to keep going :)
 
lol I knew I'd get a few comments like that. I had a photo shoot yesterday for some headshots so when I get them back if ya lucky I might put some up
 
Way to go! We appreciate the nice comments from you. But, you are the one that learned from them, put the plan into action then reaped the benefits. Good job and keep us posted on how things go. Take care, Greg

Thank you for all your amazing responses. I'm still up for any additional tips, info and anything anyone wants to throw at me....i'm not famous yet :p lol (I promise I'm not self centered). I'm still up for all the great info you guys have given me and any tips that can take me from good, to great.
 
Congradulations are in order. When you get ads / mags layout, don't forget to link us the pictures. I am curious about the before touch-up and the post (if any is needed). That is totally awesome girl.

I think you already know this but your face structure is partially based by your BF % so if you want more of a round face, eat some pie + cookie. If you feel that you need to show more cheek bones, etc, then lower the BF a little bit.

Can we officially hate you yet? Ok, i promoise I won't hate if you hook us all up with your new model friends. :)

Thanks guys your all really supportive..... I feel like I'm being treated like a celeb. I haven't even had a job yet haha :D .....but good things come to those who wait. I'm just so stoked to have finally taking that step and my dreams have come true.

I went hard out at the gym today lifting weights. I've just put more weights on now too....slowly starting to build up and did some serious squatting (which looked more like a was going to the toilet instead of squatting) but I'm definately going hard out.....just goes to show that hard work does pay off.
 
Hey you CONGRATS!!!!! Ive done modelling too, not catwalk though as GOD deprived me of about 4 more inches im only 5ft 5!!! Shortass me has done some glamour shoots ( not filth was really tasteful and soooo hot!!) and have modelled my eyes a few times i have big brown eyes (some say like an owl!!!)!

Really pleased for you girl, some good advice though keep your barriers up with regards to what you will and wont do..Sooooooo many agents try and lure you into things you dont want to do throwing money at you from every direction,do what i did turn towards the door and kindly advise them to kiss my tanned ass!!!
Also, alot of agencies ask for an up front fee to represent you , THESE SHOULD BE AVOIDED at all costs, theyll take your money send you info that your now on their books and thats the last you'll hear. You could always represent yourself, setup your webpage or post pics to modelling or casting agents etc with your stats...
Hope all goes well for you chick BE CAREFUL and SOOOOOO VERY SUCCESSFUL..o yea and generous if you have a couple spares height inches i can have!! LOL

Thanks princess...I'm very cautious about what I will and won't do and the agency that I'm represented by is a very well known company on the Sunshine Coast (Australia) and they don't have joining fee's as they have stated "we don't get paid if you girls don't work. Models are our business" not sure if that is a good moto but it's a true statement. I'd absolutely love to do catelogue modelling or photographic modelling. It would be insane. Do you have any pictures of your modelling?

As for your question about height.....I'm 5' 10'' so you can have as much height has you like. :D
 
Awesome, welcome to the wonderful world of modeling! :) Good for you! And yes, it does feel like being a celebrity... Now when people do the whole "OMG you're so tall do you model?" you can actually say "YES!" (I know that was one of my favorite things about finally starting). Also if you haven't already, maybe get into yoga - I've found the flexibility and fluidity of motion is greatly appreciated on a photo shoot as it opens up your posing potential. Janice ****inson herself is a devout yogini! Good luck as you strike out on your new journey. Let me know if you need any tips from a pro amateur model like myself :p Way to go girl!
