I can't believe i let myself got so big. now i'm on my way on losing those nasty pounds. so far (3 days) i've lost 1.5 lbs, it's unsignificant amount i know but i'm on my way! i'm 5'7" btw.

this is my BEFORE (before i gained weight) at 123lbs

and i thought i was fat back then.. now i know better.

this is me NOW at 142lbs *dies*

i wanted to cryy...

i could barely fits all my pants, and everything that i have just looked ugly on me now. i'm super determined to get back in shape! *and the sad thing is.. it's not that i was being lazy. i was working my ass off to prepare my fashion show, and under a lot of stress, and also, i took the contraceptive pills, which i think responsible for the weight gain. *since i have the same diet when i was thinner and when i'm fatter*

*sigh* of well, off with the rant and on with the training!

supports are highly appreciated :)

While I can understand you wanting to get back to your old weight I just wanted to say that you are stunningly beautiful as you are now :)

Since you thought you were fat at 5'7" and 123 pounds, I would be really careful because that doesn't sound healthy.

Maybe take up a sport like martial arts to get in better shape, but don't worry so much about the weight. In your before picture you look very thin, right now you just look normal.

I'm going to be extremely blunt so I hope you can take criticism well.

You should honestly seek professional help before whatever is going through your mind gets any worse. There's nothing wrong with wanting a strong/beautiful body but some people really do take it to an extreme... and most people that are on the runway usually do take it to that extreme.

I would focus more on body-recomp (building muscle, losing fat, controlled...) then simple weight loss. 5'7, 142 lbs is hardly "fat," and 123lbs at 5'7 is FAR from fat.

Use some heavy weights, hit the gym hard, cardio, cardio, cardio and eat healthy, nutritious food. You are not far from attaining an amazing body.

Don't follow down that path where you have to be stick thin. The fashion world is one of the worst industries for destroying a woman's self-confidence.

You look great as-is. Just focus on being healthy and strong. Good luck!

firstly, thanks everyone :)

and..

biggestloser105: i think the reason why i thought i was fat was because i have some extra fat on my belly, i never really exercised and i eat a LOT, when i say a lot, it means i eat more than most of my male friends. therefore.. the tummy.. and i think well... i live in asia, and people are A LOT smaller here. i'm already taller than most of them, and i have big bones. it's VERY easy for me to look HUGE. not to say, that it's also very hard for me to find clothes, they have AMAZINGLY small sizes. which is only adding to the "i feel huge" thing. but yeah, i'm trying to lose some weight and look more toned :) and thanks for the concern.

NedoCTB: ah, what you said it's not blunt at all, don't worry abt it :) and yeah well that's kinda the peer pressure, 5'10" girls who only weight at 110lbs or less. but, i know long ago that it's not possible for me to get THAT thin. i'd have to practically starved myself. and i love food too much to give it up. so, not gonna happen. the reason why i really want to lose weight and get back in shape is because i feel really shitty lately. ever since i gained weight, i feel a lot more sluggish, tired all the time, lots and lots of migraine, gastric, and really BAD back problem. *i've always had the back problem. thanks to the grueling workload from school which basically turn you into slaves.

so hopefully, by working out more, and eating healthier, i'll get rid of those problem and would have more stamina to last in this insane field of work that i apparently love. =/

so far, progress seems to be consistent, but then again it's not even been a week :D i'll keep you guys updated and hopefully within few months i'll be able to see some changes :D

Weight gain can be hard to believe i agree! being conscious of it is the first part of change and I hope that you continue on with your efforts and keep us updated. go Maja!!

I guess living in Asia and being in the fashion industry might explain why you feel fat. I'll say though, that by Western standards your before is very thin, and your bones are also small.

In looking at you I would say you should focus on gaining muscle mass. Muscle is half the size of the fat for the same weight, so you could weigh 140 but look considerably smaller. You'd also be stronger and healthier.

The above posters are right, you look great now, but you also look healthy at the lower weight. I don't think you look sickly thin, you're just tiny which isn't a bad thing. As long as your eating a healthy diet and don't feel ill I don't see anything wrong with your goal weight. You should aim for what you feel comfortable at.

However, I will say this! Work on loving yourself despite the flaws you see! Everyone has flaws, every single person! I have a butt dimple, my boyfriend has big ears! Stop putting yourself down! You said so yourself, you thought you were fat at 123 when you obviously weren't! So start working on how think about yourself along with diet and exercise or I fear you will always have body issues!

hi everyone! thx a lot for the supports! :D

biggestloser105: thx again for the concern, i'm trying to lose the excess fat, and gain more muscle, so hopefully, within 6 months *i hope that's a reasonable goal* i'll be able to get the look that i want :D

heatherisadork: thanks for the advice and concern. yeah, the view on body image could be a bit hard. especially when the surrounding are all fashion bitches. or, teeennyy tinyy little asian, who just couldnt get over the fact that not everyone looks like them. *i'm mix, so even though i look asian, i have freckles, and slightly different built. and people would think that i have skin disease or plastic surgery *for my eyes especially* =( *i have none of those*

so, within a week since i start this, i lost 5.73lbs :D yaayy!! i workout 5 days a week, and still having the same diet as i always has *heck, i even still eat mc donalds* but i try to eat more healthier food and lots of fruit. so far it seems to be working!

i know that most probably those weight that i lost are just water, but it's okay at least i'm getting there :D i feel less bloated, and i think i look less bloated too, a bit, i know i still have to work on my tummy, and build my muscle, it's a long journey!

here's some pictures that i took before i went out yesterday :D

sorry for the blurry pictures =(

Maybe cutting out the mcdonalds is a better idea ;) I like fruit once in a while for a treat but I don't eat it every day. I love mangos though!

I hope you focus on self improvement and less focus on "fashion bitches" but I see how it is difficult for you in the most judgmental profession outside of a dog show ;)

wow those new pictures u just put up, u have really sexy legs. i agree with everyone else though, i dnt think you have to lose any weight, u look great the way u are but defining ur muscles would really be a good way to go for you. im quite short n never liked my body but since ive been working out n doing weights ive had a better self image because ive had a much leaner n stronger look n have been able to push myself further. ur tummy is nothing to worry about, you look tiny to me. but as i said the weight training will help, it'll tone everything up n ur tummy will look smaller even if you dnt lose anything :)
