Gymchica, thank you so much for your support. It really means a lot. How are things going for you?
Gymnastics was great tonight. Once again, I'm going to be really sore tomorrow. However, all day today I felt really good about getting back on track and how I was doing. But being in a leotard really sheds a different light on things. You see every single tiny little flaw. But mostly I just go and have a great time and get a good workout. I would strongly suggest to anyone who is not already doing it to find a way to workout that you truly love. It makes it not seem like working out at all. I think I get a better workout at gymnastics without even thinking about it than when I go to the gym. It's awesome!
For conditioning I just do a little bit of everything. I know this is different from traditional weight training. When I was a 'real' gymnast and practiced multiple times a week and was in good shape, we would always do some of everything, so I guess thats why I do it. I was in the best shape of my life then, so I figure if I try to reproduce as closely as possible what I was doing then, maybe I'll get results that are close to that now. I do multiple kinds of pushups, sit ups, v ups, leg lifts, tuck ups, hollow and arch holds, handstands, handstand pushups, wall sits, squat jumps, mountain climbers, and others in some combination and some number. I don't ever do the same thing every day. And I only do conditioning on the days I don't do gymnastics. So every day but Wednesday and Thursday.
I ate pretty well today. I realized that I've been eating a lot of pickles. I love them, and I found this one kind that I really like that has no calories. I wonder if all the salt could be making me retain water, thus leading to my bloating.
I asked this question in another post, but didn't get any responses so I'll ask it here. I'm losing both weight, and inches but gaining cellulite on my butt and the back of my upper thighs. I've never had this problem before. I don't know what to do or what might be causing it.
Wow, I wrote a lot. Thanks for reading.
