well about a month ago. i was having some problems with a few things in life and decided to vent my rage out on a bathroom stall door by wailing on it with my fists in a blind fury and went back to class right after that.
My knuckles were pretty red when i sat back down in my seat, but a couple minutes later i realized that the tendon on my ring finger knuckle was slightly contorted and jabbing out of its original spot, and was slipping out of place into the gap between that knuckle and my middle knuckle, causing my ring finger to jam up and be useless. This would happen whenever i tried making a fist. also, there was an incredible pain on that knuckle whenever i put pressure on it. I went back home that day and taped my ring finger to my middle finger together in order to put less stress on the tendon, and let it heal up for about a week.
Its been a month now, and ive been doing a little bit of backyard boxing with my friends every week for some fun for the past few months. and i realized that whenever i try tapping fists with someone or punching walls/punching bags during a boxing exercise with that hand(without gloves), my knuckle would always have a small but noticable pain arriving in the exact same spot that I hurt.
does anyone know if its just a bruised knuckle or could it be a fracture in the bone? if not a fracture, could you give me some advice on helping it heal up faster so that i dont have to deal with this pain anymore.
P.S a buddy of mine told me to take some Glucosamine pills to help heal up that knuckle, and other joints in my body that crackle sometimes, does it rlly help heal up joint/bone damage?
