How to firm butt without making thighs big?

Hi, I have been doing squats and lunges for a while now, to firm and improve my butt, but the problem I have found is that it has been making my thighs and my butt a bit too big. I don't want them to be big - I just want my butt to be firm and neat. I also HATE my thighs getting bigger in this way. Is there any type of butt exercises I can do that won't make my legs and butt bigger, but just make it firmer and tighter?
Any help is appreciated as this problem is getting me very down! Thanks,

I know what you are talking about. I need my thigh muscles bigger so I like it but my butt isn't getting as big as my thighs. I find that putting your feet on a box so your legs are at a 90 degree angle and putting weights on your hip and doing buttock tuck really helps. Another thing I find that works is to sit like you're going to give a piggy back (on your hands and knees), add ankle weights and/or put a weight being your knee and lift your leg up towards the ceiling and back down again.
