If you can find someone who is comfortable doing body fat measurements with the calipers, that is probably your best and most affordable bet. Just make sure you go back to the same person to get re-tested later to minimize testing error.
You could use a scale that estimates body fat, but there is usually a much larger possible error with those. You would have to follow the pre-measurement guidelines very closely and follow the exact same routine every time to get even a somewhat accurate idea of your BF % (same time of day, same # of hours after eating or drinking anything, no caffeine, no alcohol, etc.). Your hydration level drastically affects the readings, so you have to be strict in following the instructions.
If you can, go with the caliper measurements.
