Hi,
I have been going to the gym for about 2 months now.
At the beginning it was very exciting, I even found a trainer that helped me a lot. I started with the machines and now I am using mainly the dumb bells.
Unfortunately, after over 2 months, I got fed up. Suddenly, out of no where, I feel sick just by walking into the gym, and if I do it, I can't wait to go thru all the exercises and go home.
I am trying to figure out what's going on.
Part of me still wants to go to the gym, because in two months I have built muscles and I sort of feel proud of myself, but another part of me tells me that it's a waste of time and that if I am not enjoying it anymore, then I should just give up.
Sad but true, I've also gained weight since I started going to the gym. I was 169 lbs when I started, and in 2 months I gained 9 lbs. I am sure I have not built 9lbs of muscles, but the reason is because I am more hungry, that's probably because I am using more energy from my body, and I find myself eating twice what I used to eat before joining the gym.
Can anyone give me some suggestion about how to find motivation and what to do about the food problem?
I haven't been going to the gym for only 4 days, but I already feel as if I gave up.
Thanks in advance.
Ciao!
Luigi
