How to Cut questions

Hello,

So i have bulked for a motnh or so and i have gone from 156 to 158. My lacrosse season will start in 2 weeks. I am going to finish this week bulking and the next week bulking. But the week right before the season I have to do sprints and conditioning for running to get ready.

During the season, I was thinking of Cutting because i would be doing running 5x a week, and its not really Slow cardio its like HIIT or pretty much all sprinting so i wont lose as much muscle. But the problem i have is that i dont think I will be able to weight training those 3 months until like may 15th. Thats when i will get back to weight training.

I know during cutting i will lose some muscle during cutting.
My questions were

I eat 3100 calories now and i think i need 2600 with like 1.4 activity level but i will be running alot so i was thinking dropping it to 2100 or 2200 calories for the cut. I will be taking alot of protein more then right now, but my question was, What kind of foods would i need to eat differently? if need i will post my current diet right now.

How much muscle will I lose during the cutting phase with little or no weight training, instead of bodyweight excercises?

I have approximately 19% body fat, and i would really like to get to 12-14 percentile. I dont really care for a 6 pac. Just want to look stronger. During the cut, will cutting lose my body fat % or my weight. because i really dont want to lose weight because i am at a healthy weight. Will i lose BF or weight?

I really would like the answer to these questions please. It would really help.
THANKS

cutting without heavy lifting is bad...you will lose muscle mass because you're not giving the body a reason to retain it. the fact you'll be sprinting more is even more of an influence to ditch the heavy muscle so you can run faster.
humans adapt and evolve to the stresses we put on the body. You only put on 2lbs...not a lot gained...not a lot to lose.

keep protein intake up, and if you can, lift 2x a week doing only heavy compounds...squats, pullups, deadlifts, rows, benchpress. keep protein intake up...adjust carbs as necessary. to cut, you need 10-20% under your daily maintenance.
I'd probably start more like 2,600 cals, and drop it down a little. yo udon't need a huge calorie deficit to cut if you're doing lots of aerobic activity. dipping too low puts you in starvation mode.

Both.

Also bulking for a month and only gaining two pounds is not much, you should've been gaining at least about 1 pound a week.

oops sorry i meant i have been bulking for 2 weeks and i gained 2 lbs. I have 2 weeks to go. so 4 pounds at the end.

hmm so i will lose muscle if i dont workout huh. What do you guys recommend i do? Whats a better way out?

THanks

heavy weight / low reps, compound exercises. It probably shouldn't take you too long to get a work out done... I really can't think of a better alternative.

so i can stick to my 5x5 that i am doing now right? and with that i can cut right?

as for cutting, do i just minus my calories to say like 2500, and eat the same foods just eat a little less of each? or does carb matter? Well i need alot of energy so i dont want to be all weak every day.
