Ok, It has been some time since I have been in shape but the other day I bought my friends kid a weight bench. After showing him the basics he asked me to pick him up so he could do some pull-ups on the crossmembers in the gerage. It made me flash back when I was into working out and could do pull-ups. Can anyone give me ani ideas on makeing myself one in the gerage? I want to get back in shape and back into dooing pull-ups.
I was going to get my extra standard barbell and kist hook a chain to each end of it and connect it to the gerage's crossmembers. But then I thought it may swing to much as I pulled up each time. But then I figured it would have to hold 240lbs without any problems.
Aney ideas?
