How should I feel after lifting weights?

Say after I do 1 set of 10-12-15 curls my arms feel shakey and tight is this the feeling Iam looking for telling me iam working these muscles well?
 
idk about the shaky part but the teight part is what should happen....try doing 3 sets of 8-10 reps, and if its to heavy decrease the weight abit
 
I second the shakey part being different and that may be from not enough water intake...maybe. The tightness, that happens. The more tension during the set the better. You don't want to feel more tension after the workout.
 
Shakey while your lifting is normal...after, while you are at rest, it is not. Are you talking about twitches or just feeling week in the arms?
 
Well its kinda weak in the arms with a jittery feeling now this is directly after I lift which I thought with my increased heartrate and stress I was putting on my arms.
 
never happened to me with arms (except for when I'm actually in mid-lift), but squats do it for my legs so that they're shaky just trying to stand after the workout.
 
It happens to me *occasionally* - never really bothered to pay attention to what might be causing it, but it might be me overtaxing my synergist muscles. I'll look more into it and see what I can come up with :)
 
my arms get shaky while im lifting and am near the end of a heavy set, but afterwards they just feal a little tight maybe when you try to extend your arms out.
 
you'll feel particularly weak if you're somewhat new to training...the muscles aren't used to being put through so much work.
I can barely drive home (manual transmission) from the gym after leg day...I just have so little control over my legs by that point.
