How much weight can i lose in 2 months?!

Hello guys!! I have a diary already, but i just wanted to ask a question


I am 229 pounds at 5'7, i used to be 249 but have so far lost 20 pounds through healthy eating alone.


From tomorrow out, i plan on consuming a healthy diet of 1200 cals daily, along with 3 hours exercise minimum per day( probably a 2 hour brisk walk and an exercise dance video)


Does anyone know how much weight i can lose by doing this in 2 months time? I would love to lose 55 pounds but is that just impossible?

I wouldn't recommend cutting your calories so severely you really need more food than that, also three hours of exercise seems extreme. You risk injury when you don't build up your workouts. Then you will end up right back where you started. I would say that you should lose no more than two to three pounds per week. Anymore than that would end up being muscle lost which is counter productive. I would do about a half an hour of cardio a day to start off and some weight training. You can also add the video. Do that four to five days a week and mix it up. Just remember the more muscle you gain the faster you will lose and if you look toned it will benefit you more than weight loss alone. :)

Thanks riderchick for that brill info, was really helpful. I cant help but want to get rid of my fat very quickly though:) haha i can be very impatient
