how much do you gain on biceps in a year?

That seems good to me. You can't just ask the question like that though, the more you have already gained, the harder it is to gain more. So when you just start out, as from the sound of it you are, it's easy to pack on muscle-but as you get stronger, and your body adapts to the training it gets a lot lot harder to change.

too open ended. If you bulked all year long you might add 10" to your biceps, but 60% of that is fat.

If you clean bulked, and then got shredded during a cut, you might only net 1", but you also lost an inche of fat compared to a year ago.

progress is progress.
