How much can YOU bench?

before I hurt my shoulder (which has turned into an on-going thing!):( I was benching 242lbs 1RM and 190 for 10 reps

my bench

i switched to dumbells for a while to change things up a bit. when i switched, i was benching 275 for 2 sets, 8 reps each. the third set i usually ended at 6 reps. i'm now using 115lb dumbbells for 3 sets 8 reps each set. i don't touch my chest because in my experience, your shoulders and tri's come into play when you bring upper arms and lower than parallel with the floor. Also, try this: with your arms out as if parallel to the floor flex your chest. look at it in the mirror. now with your arms as if you're touching you chest with the bar, try to flex your chest. not much going on there. if i can't effectively flex a muscle in a certain range of motion, i don't use that range except for maybe warmup sets. my two cents anyway, i'm either ON TO something or i'm ON something.

i can't do that much. Only like 135 or something and i weigh 150. My brother though weighs 140 and benchs 265... strong bastard

i'm 15 and 5'9/180 lbs, i don't own a bench so i rarely get to work with them, but when i was 14 i was big on benching, i put maxed 200 lbs and tried to do it twice, and injured my shoulder, so that was a pain in the ass, now i just do push ups, i went on a bench the other day and i was repping 175 about 8 times, i know a kid who's 17 and is about 5'4 or so weighs 150 lbs and can max 350, i thought it was crazy.
