How many?

How many exercises per muscle group? I was wondering if i should add more workouts. For chest or Biceps. I see some routines with Incline, Decline, flat bench, flys, etc. for just chest!

Wednesday
Bench press- 4x6 2mins rest. 100lbs.
One arm row's- 4x6 2 mins rest. 50lbs.
Two arm row's- 4x6 2 mins rest. 80lbs.
Lat Pulldown- 3x6 2mins rest. 80lbs.
Abs- Doggy, bicycle, leg raises

Friday
Db Curls- 4x6 2mins rest. 30-35lbs.(each)
Weighted Dips (close grip)- 4x6 2mins rest. 25lb plate.
Tricep Extensions- 4x6 2 mins rest. 40lbs.
Miltary press- 4x6 2mins rest. 55lbs.
Weighted Crunches- 2x25 2 mins rest. 10lb plate.

It really comes down to the total volume IE reps. You can do 4 excercises of 3x8, 3x6, 4x6, 5x5 etc sets for instance. If you do a split i would stay in the 50 to 100 rep range (%80 to %85 1Rm) per muscle group. 100 being for an advanced trainee.
 
Yeah, the length of time you've been training has a big effect on how much volume you probably need to elicit growth in the muscles.

Don't try to follow routines posted by experience (or professional) bodybuilders. they are advanced, and also strictly building for size. Its smarter to strive for strength AND size. You sacrifice some size, but having more functional strength is going to serve a purpose in life. But looking good is a great side effect.

You could also train even lower volume, but hit the muscle group twice a week (or more realistically, twice every 8-9 days)
