How many of you guys box?

I have just started it and i love it. I have a speed bag and a heavy bag which make for a great cardio on non HIIT training days. I actually have an entire day for a boxing workout involving lots of puch ups, chin ups, crunches, speed and heavy bag, and jump rope. I was wondering if anyone with more experience in this area could give me advice on what my routine should be made up of and how often i should do it. Thanks!

i hit the bag everyday for 5-10mins straight as part of my cardio. i agree, it's a lot of fun. i think once i get some more strength i'll take some lessons from a trainer..

there are no boxing gyms where i live. Not even one close by in another town. All we have is a standard gym it is new and very nice but no boxing.

i do boxing once a week it is tough but exerclent form of fitness. for know then jus keep working your bag, speedball, speed rope ect. do 3mins of work then 1 mins rest, 3mins work 1 min rest ect .

I started boxing last November to get in shape and lose the fat three years of office work had put on me.

Now four stone lighter and loving it.

First time I ever sparred I got in with a 15 year old (I'm 24). 100 seconds later I didn't know my own name

It's really hard to appreciate what a fine craft boxing is until you try it...

im gonna add boxing to my summer workout routine! :D
