how many curls a day

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to many....dude that is a sh*tload way to many...cut that back to like 3sets of 10 for a starting point..1 time every 2 days...at the most. What are trying to gain doing 300 a day?
 
I suggest you start reading before you go any further..........because based on that question it's obvious you have no idea what you are doing. It's ok......we all have to start somewhere, but start doing some research or seek advice from a trainer before you end up hurting yourself. I can't even begin to start typing a response to that question because I wouldn't even know where to start. I will pay off to understand your body and the proper way to weight train and build muscle before throwing weights around.
 
300 a day? That's about a months worth. You need to do quality reps(slow down, as I guarantee you are going too fast) use good form, and use enough weight so that by the 10th, or very most 12th rep there is no way you could squeeze out another. If you are using a bar, use a straight one, not an easy-curl, as the easy curl doesn't allow for a full contraction of your bicep muscle. 3 sets is a good starting point.
 
well ok guys lol i didn't think that was to many i am wanting to gain some muscles lol so i guess i could cut back to 50 but thats not that many
 
It's not about quanity, it's quality... because you could be doing full arm/back/body curles for all we know... get some weights, do like everyone else said, some sort of sets and reps, and DON'T DO THEM EVERY DAY!

How much weight are you lifting?

If you CAN do 300 a day, then you need to increase your weight if you to gain muscle.

Do enough weight so that by the time you get to #10 you have difficulty lifting and by the end of your third set your arms are shaking.
 
We better not even get on to the subject of curls not being the best way to build biceps.... that would blow his mind/

dude...even 50 is way too many...do 3sets of 10 with a weight that is heavy enough by the end of the last set you can barely lift it.
 
now guys be nice. he's a noob, not a troll.

at some point we were all this under-educated on fitness. at least he's got the balls to come ask a bunch of strangers in public if he's doing it right or not.
 
ok guys starting today i will do 3 sets of 10 ever other day i was just wanting to know didn't mean to get you guys so upset i am new to this so sorry! :confused:
