How many calories do I need?

I was wondering how many calories I need to be eating every day (I have my stats posted below this). My parents don't think I'm eating enough because I've lost weight and look a little skinny. You see, about a six months ago I was 5'3", 120 pounds and I got tired of being that fat and ecided to lose some weight. Now I'm 5'3", 90 pounds and I don't know if I've lost to mush weight or not. Whenever I eat more than I am now, I feel like I've gotten fat again and my stomach bulges out. I don't know if I need to eat more or not. My main problem with eating more is gaining body fat and looking fat again. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO, I've posted my stats below here.

Age: 13 (I haven't hit puberty yet)
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 90 pounds
Normal Exercise Running 2-10 miles every day but Sunday, doing crunches, bycicle exercise, and sit-ups five times a day, doing moderate physical activitys (shooting baskets, playing with friends etc.) 1-2 hours a day.
Diet: My family is on the South Beach diet so I don't have any sugar or processed foods.
Normal Calorie Intake: around 800

Doing soooooo much exercising you might want 2 think about increasing your daily kcals intake. But you are only young and I haven't a clue how many kcals a 13 year old should be eating. Have you tried talking to your parents or even a dortor??? How did you get into running? Guess I'm a lazy so and so but I'm working on it!! Krystle
 
I hope you're not really serious about that. First of all no one should eat only 800 calories a day. You definitly need to increase you're calories by a lot. If you cant eat a lot at one time, split it up into 6-8 smaller meals a day (thats what you should do anyway). Give some more info on you're exercise, like reps/weight. You shouldnt need to do sit ups 5 times a day...

ok, so your def not eating enough calories. I know your on the South Beach diet but you should try to eat more, try having some more snacks in the day, it doesnt have to be unhealthy. I am 5'1 and I weigh 105, I think at 5'3 you should weigh atleast 100 lbs. As being 13 I think you can consume more calories then someone who is my age at 21. The younger you are the more calories you can consume as your body isnt done growing and what not... I think you should aim for atleast 1000 calories a day, and you can probably eat 1200-1500 without gaining weight. If you keep eating only 800 calories a day, you r going to get sick of this diet and splurge. You just cant starve yourself, you may not feel hungry, but if you ate more calroies you would have more energy and feel much better. I have tried to diet in the past but it just doesnt work, the only key is exercise and healthy eating and not to restrict your self from foods because then you will just want them! Your only 13 you shouldnt need to go on a diet, Youve lost the weight which was good, but now you just need to maintain your weight, and its ok if you gain some back because 90 lbs is too skinnny.
