How do you relax after a taxing session

What do you guys do to chill out after a really good, but more taxing than usual, weights session? ie, where you're really too sore to doing anything that requires movement, and too tired to think about much, what gets you back 'on the ball' quickest?

For me since I train late evenings mostly, I chill by having a protein shake and having a look at what everyone here is talking about, that or watch some tv.

weird

This is going to sound weird. But i'm not a fan of making myself a bath so instead i lay down in the bath tub, but leave the shower head spraying down onto my body lol and just lay there while listening to music.

It's not a shower or bath so therefor I like to call it a "shath"

That actually sounds like a good idea, never thought of doing that before. Would imagine COLD water works best, to get your body temperature down.

my work is mentally and sometimes emotionally taxing, but not physical in ANY way.

so for me, a workout IS the relaxing part of the day, that balances out my body with my mind's fatigue. I sleep very well when I'm training regularly.

A hot bath is nice though.

I totally agree, my relaxation IS my workout, it flushes all other thoughts out of my mind, but i usually follow it up with a PWO shake and a hot shower.

I agree with this. After working out I can feel the intensity of endorphins taking me over. Anything else added to this is a bonus - a nice warm shower afterwards is like a cherry on top. I have been the calmest after workouts. One of these before work makes my whole day twice is pleasurable and easy. It's like being high without side effects.
