How do you de-wind?

I dont de-wind.

I stay fired-up 24/7. Even when I sleep its deep.

As soon as I read this...don't know why, and please don't ask...but I pictured the squirrel from Hoodwinked in my mind when he drank coffee...the poor thing was already super-mega-crazy****-hyperactive...and when he took a sip of coofee he became lighting fast and so...insanely crazy.

I guess my question is:

What happens when you take coffee Chillen? :)
 
I find the most relaxing thing for me is....
Brew some hot tea; light some candles around my tub....Mr. Bubble and Oil Tablets, Classical Music...Dim the lights, Pin hair up, Slip out of the robe, and soak....
I soak untill I drift away.:luxlove:

(But men don't do this, so I was curious to ask....)

And even if we did do it, we couldn't admit it because we'd have our man cards taken away from us :(
 
I'll admit to baths, so I'll cut up my man card, Karky. However, I usually don't light candles or put my hair up, though. I forgot about the bath, put that on my list.
 
I eat too much ice cream, then feel more like crap so I go run for a few hours with music that makes me deaf for a few hours after that. If I don't do all this on my own my husband will make me.
 
I always take a walk with my best friend. I have not found any thing else that works better for me than walking and talking with Kristin. She has been my friend since the first grade and we can share everything.:eek:
 
I'm a nature person. Some days I am stressed out or pissed I just take off without telling anyone and I go running up the mountain and just sit up there day dreaming and enjoying nature for hours until it starts getting dark the and mountain lions come out.

Speaking of mountain lions, I recently found one of their caves...now I know where they sleep!
 
I tried that once, Phate, but then I got hungry and had to walk home to get something to eat :( I should have planned that trip better.
 
sex, stretching and discussing the sex, then read a few pages in a book. And it is ok to have sex several times a week.... hopefully safely :eek:

then drop a couple magnesium and voila...

if I have any trouble I will take a melatonin (thanks Mreik) and that really settles me nicely.

I think a big factor is the intensity of training too. When I am under trainign, or over training, i have sleep issues.
 
You stretch after sex?

no, but my lady liokes me when I am hot from a run ro whatever, and well- you know how important stretching is...

and I streetch before I sleep, with or without sex, it is my de-wind, and a nice way to end the day "in pain" LOL!!
