Hey ive been going for jogs for a while but i have been slacking off abit, i hate going in the mornings coz i cant get up, and at night i dont seem to have enough motovation to go on my jog...what can i do to make myself wanna go?
just dont think about it.. just do it! :-D ull be glad you did once you get out there!
just go about getting ready to go running; put ur runnign shorts on, running shoes drink some water b4 going, and bring ur mp3. all this wihtought thinking of wanting to go or not. once u are rdy to go running u can say to urself welll i didnt put all this crap on for nothing. and you go running
Change up your routine, how long you are running, how hard you are running, where you are running... etc. Getting stuck in the same routine is boring, so spice it up a bit for yourself. Changing things up is better for your body anyway, once it gets adjusted to a routine you are no longer getting the same benefit out of your workout anymore. Don't let yourself get too comfortable or too adjusted to anything, try and be interesting.
And of course finding someone to run with (at or near your fitness level) might make it more fun... at the very least having someone else there to tell you to get off your ass might be just what you need at times.
Or switching up your run, like skipping, running bakwards, sprinting, etc. But you might wanna run backwards on a track, so you don't trip on cracks in the sidewalk. Yes, we all know it's what Bruce Lee did, but it doesn't mean it's not fun.
I think the best motivation is to get someone that runs just a little better than you to run with. It should probably someone you're close to, and don't want to be embarrased. Then you will have some motivation to catch up, also it will have a synergy when your running which will also add to your motivation.
First thing is first. Put on sweats. This way you will not forget that you are going to be using them. Then take some caffeine. Pills are great because they do not need to settle in your tummy like coffee.
Next time you hear somthing that motivates you write it down and post it somewhere in your home where you can't help but read it every time you pass by like the refrigerator. My house is loaded with drawings of my future self and of hundreds of quick quips that keep me on track in my life.
well I used to work at this club and one of the bouncers was a body builder and he was getting ready for a show and he was talking to me about it and I asked why he does it, like why he wanted to be a body builder and he said a certain that kept me motivated for a long time, he said because no one can and it's so true. It's so hard to eat extremely healthy and exercise eveyday not alot of people do it and if they do they don't stick to it.
