Hey Everyone glad to be a new member. I have a couple of questions i use to do allot of power lifting back in the day say about 10 years ago, i still have my thickness my stats are:
5'11
250
19 inch arms
56 shoulders
42 waist

as of now im on the soft side, and i started my cardio and low fat diet nothing to extreme but i run and bike everyday. Here is my question

What is the best excerise to do inorder to keep my arm size and add defenitation.

Thanks for any help

keep lifting heavy weights. the body builds the muscle in the first place because it was adapting to the constant workload of moving weights.

if you stop lifting, the body sees no reason to hold on to so much muscle mass, and it'll remove it.

to keep size, lift weights, particularly pullups and barbell rows, with minimal bicep curling. don't forget your chest (bench press), and soem work for the shoulders and triceps...again, less work than your chest or back gets.

and don't forget legs. you'll look silly with stick legs.

to get definition, shed bodyfat.

There is not one single fat loss exersice which rules them all.

If your talking about cardio workouts then the best thing is to keep changing it. Change the distance, speed and most importantly the exerices.
For me, I swap between, running, swimming rowing and skipping because they all work your muscles, heart and central nervious system in different ways.

And just to back up what malkore said. LIFT!

If you used to do it, then I presume you have an interest. If you enjoy an exercise then take advantage of it.

Just curious why you said no bicep curling?

because there is no point to doing isolation exercises. If your training your body well, your arms will be worked well enough already.

exactly. your biceps will grow proportionally to meet the needs of your back exercises, like pull ups, barbell rows, cable rows.
the bulk of your arm work should occur during back and chest exercises. you should only require a minimal amount of direct arm training (if any...) to get nice lookign arms.

plus, you'll look foolish with big arms and a small chest/back. worse, you'll easily injure yourself if you skip back work, and only hit chest and biceps.
