That physique is pretty easy to achieve. They have low bodyfat which provides the appearance they're carrying around a lot of muscle.

What are you doing now as far as lifting?
What about conditioning?
What does your diet look like?

well I'm kind of going for the muscular look as well. sadly I only bench 135 but I don't really mind..it is going nowhere but up. As for my diet..I don't eat any junk food...what so ever. I only drink water oj and milk. I eat vegetables and fruits with every one of my meals. I eat proportioned meals as well...little servings only. I don't eat too little either. I eat just enough.
As for lifting..I have a random routine going..but I only started working out a little over a week ago. And as for conditioning? I'm not quite sure what that is:/

Google "Westside for Skinny Bastards III" and start using the program. And go to and start reading through all of Lyle's articles on training and nutrition.

You'll be miles ahead of the game if you do these two things.

Yes, that actor does have low bodyfat, but he's also got muscle mass.

If you don't have good lean muscle mass, then low bodyfat just makes you look scrawny.

How tall are you and how much do you weigh? Do you currently consider yourself slender, overweight, underweight?

and what's a 'healthy diet'? without some examples, I can't really say if you're eating healthy or not.
and calorie intake matters a lot, not just food choices. although as a 16 year old male, you're teaming with testosterone and burning calories at a good rate, so you do have some advantages.

I have to disagree that it is easy to achieve. If it was so easy, everyone would look like that. Yeah, they have low bodyfat, but they also have a lot of muscle. In reality, that is a very hard physique to have that requires tremendous workout discipline, tremendous dietary discipline and a good dose of genetics for the abs. As Malkore said, both are very muscular with very low body fat. Based on your 135# bench press, you need to gradually add a lot of muscle to avoid the emaciated look. You're 16, you have lots of time, just don't set yourself up for disappointment. You won't look like that for your Junior Prom or probably not your Senior Prom, but you can look like that for college if you start working toward that goal now.

yeah, well I know it will be hard and it will take time. But I am sure I will be somewhat in range of my goal in a little over a year. Oh btw I am 5'9'' and weigh 140. My legs are pretty strong..I would say ha..I can squat about 250 and power clean 175. That was what I was doing my sophmore year..I am now a junior. They should be about the same because that is when I was working out for football..but I stopped because it was a big waste of time for me. I went to the gym today and my squat is about the same but I dunno about my power cleans..I can't do them at my gym. But I don't really think I need to. I will take pictures to show progress if you guys would like. or if that is weird I will not ha just doing it to give you an idea of what my body type is and how I am progressing..
cheers

You should enter the squat challenge, http://training.fitness.com/weight-training/squat-chart-28460.html. Your coefficient would put you in second place overall.

Couple of things-he has nutritionists and personal trainers working with him to get him that way and that takes the guess work out of it. It's his job to look like that, so he treats it like a job.

He doesn't have that much muscle. He has a decent amount and he has the same amount of muscle any mens fitness cover model would have or any decent level Crossfitter. A lot of muscle mass would be your competitive bodybuilder ala Jay Cutler or Ronnie Coleman or Arnold back in the day.

The fact that he has very low bodyfat gives the appearance of a lot of muscle to the general public. But the opinion of hte general public is that is a lot of muscle. I consider that your average athletic look...not a lot of muscle.

The fact is most people don't have the dedication to eat right to look like that. If everyone had the dedication, it would be easy. But most people just don't care or make too many excuses as far as they don't have time to train or eat right. If everyone was getting paid like these actors to maintain a certain body type, you can bet we'd see a lot more people walking around like this.

So, yes, that's an easy physique to achieve if your consistent in training and nutrition.

oh and by the way I take creatine and drink protien shakes? if that has any effect on your opinions? It's kinda low I know but I really need all the help i can get..

Oh..and do you know how to get the v shape at the bottom of the abs? Any exercises that works this muscle? thanks again..
cheers!

LOL... That's not exactly an easy physique to achieve. So if one has dedication in consistent training and nutrition then the physique is easy. NO **** SHERLOCK!! unfortunately a lot of people don't have dedication and for them this is really hard for them and as another guy said, if it was an easy physique then everyone would be walking around looking rather muscular and lean since for many this is an ideal physique and what the girls love. And guy's like ronnie or arnie use steroids and have a huge ammount of muscle mass (not just a lot lol), compared to most guys Taylor Laudtner has a decent ammount of muscle and is still rather lean. I think most people would agree that the guys on fitness magazines have a good ammount of muscle on them. So no this physique is not easy to achieve. Taylor lautner took around 2 years to get this physique, for someone who doesn't have nutritionists and has to experiment to see what works best for him, I'd think it would take around 3 years to achieve this physique with good training dedication and proper nutrition.

Good. We agree. I'm glad you could be so cordial about it. Insults are awesome, 'specially when you have nothing better to do than to respond to a post to throw in some sarcastic insults.

unfortunately a lot of people don't have dedication and for them this is really hard for them

That doesn't make having a low bodyfat percentage hard. It means those people are not motivated enough to achieve their goals.

Okay. And?
