Hotel workout

Does anyone know any good cardio and weightlifting exercises to do in a hotel room while traveling? I can't really take any weights with me but I have a resistance band. I'd like some good exercises to get my heart rate up.
 
Try burpees and squat thrusts for cardio.

As for weight training, you could single arm snatch your suitcase while standing on the bed, lol. I wouldn't worry about it too much, unless you're going to be gone for several weeks.

Does the hotel have a fitness center? Or an arrangement with one of the local gyms? Might be a good idea to look into.
 
For weight training try some body weight exercises like...

Bed/chair Dips
Push Ups
Chair or bed bridges
Planks
Leg Lowering
Wall Sits with arm raises

All these can be performed without weights of bands.
 
There is a lot of different exercises that you can perform in an hotel room.

For Cardio I would recommend doing a circuit sort of workout with about 10 exercises. Some the exercises you could do in a hotel room include:
* Jumping Jacks
* Jump Rope (just jumping in place if you do not have one)
* Jumping over a line (imaginary or make one) front/back, side to side
* Step up and down on a table in the room if at approriate height and strength
* High Knees
* Butt Kicks
* Sit ups
* Push ups
* Even Jogging in place....as fun as that sounds!


Strength Training:

* Push ups
* Sit ups
* Using a table or bed.....tricep dips
* Using something of any weight to do bicep curls
* Lunges
* Squats without weights
* Calf Raises
* Superman (Back Extension)

Using your elastic band-

* Tying it at different levels allows you to do different exercises......
Tie it high- Pull downs-work the shoulder muscles
Tie it at shoulder height- shoulder internal and external rotation
Stepping on it- bicep curls and front raises

I also recommend bringing along a Pilates video or doing some pilates moves which are easy to do in a hotel room.
