But we know all the tricks in getting it back off and this is why we work hard... so we can enjoy ourselves and feel good!
That is so true! Exactly what I'm working towards! I hope the all bran buds work as good for you as they do me!
When I was breastfeeding I had issues with the bathroom breaks as well and I was given milk of magnisia or magnisium...it's a tiny capsul and it will help restore regular bathroom breaks gently with in 24 hours....I beleive that could really be the reason for your lack of energy! I would check into your vitamine B as well as Iron.
The crazy thing was I did take a capsule (that my mom gave me to help relieve this kind of thing - not sure what it's called) and it still didn't work! This is probably TMI but all I could get out was little rabbit poos. I'm sure that's what was causing the lack of energy - it even started to hurt my lower back.
I love how you are thinking past your honeymoon trip to what will happen after as far as your weight loss. You aren't letting it just be something you do till you leave for your trip and have planned for afterwards to continue your new healthy lifestyle. Good for you!!
I've been going at this far to long to give up anytime soon! I hope to continue the lifestyle for life and pass it on to my kids on day. The cruise is just extra motivation!
even more, I love how you said today was a maintenance day. You didn't say it was a crappy day or a total loss because you screwed up and didn't exercise or you ate too much or what ever.
I didn't always think this way but lately I have realized to not beat myself up so much - one day isn't going to change me or my efforts. Now two or three days of maintanence and it's a different story!
OK so I finally felt some relief and feel 100% better today! My gf ditched out again on pedal and pump so I went to the gym and just wanted to get a good run in. I was at 5.2 miles and I got a huge cramp in my side - my plumbing was started to work again and it came at the worst timing! So I finished up the run but I still wanted to get some cardio in so I went to the stairmaster and did 15 min on that - boy my calf's are feeling it today! Finished with a stretch - 80 min in the gym and 798 cals burned.
Here's how the eating looked:
B - 1 cup fresh strawberries, 1 ff activia yogurt, 1/3 cup all bran buds, peppermint tea
L - healthy choice chicken marina frozen dinner with broccoli
D - lettuce, tomato, little bit shredded marble cheese, green onion, salsa, two hard taco shells crumbled up & 3/4 cup lean ground turkey with reduced salt taco seasoning.
Exercise - 55 min treadmill 5.2 miles, 15 min stepper - 1.2 miles, stretch - 798 cal burned.
Snack - pear, 1 slice marble cheese, peppermint tea
When I got home from the gym my stomach was still really sore and bloated so that helped with the snacking.
I was 147.8 on the scale this morning so up a little from last Friday but hopefully I will still be down a little at my weigh-in. I'm only working till noon today so unless I get to run out before then I might not get to update what the results were till Monday.
We are having hubby's family over for dinner tonight so I'm going home at noon to clean my house. I managed to get up and do the treadmill this morning. Just walking at 4.1 and incline at 5 - 35 min. Burned 280 calories. It's crazy to think I would have to do that 12 times to lose 1 pound. It doesn't seem fair.
Not much planned for the weekend although I plan to make it much healthier than last weekend and I plan to exercise every day too.
I found out some pretty exciting news yesterday - my boss called me and said we are going to have a trial period from May to September where I work Mon-Thur 7-5 instead of Mon-Fri 8-4, she picked to work Tues - Fri so I get Friday's off all summer!! I was so pumped yesterday everyone kept asking why the huge smile on my face. I wish the new schedule started today! I use to have to start at 6:30 so I don't think 7 will be so bad. I won't be getting up early to exercise though. The other good thing is most of the classes at my gym start at 5:30 so right now it's not really convenient for me to attend. I have a lot to look forward to in the next little while - it's really helping me stay motivated!
Ok this is a long one but one more thing. Around Christmas hubby reached 202 on the scale. He was probably around 180 when I met him but when he quit smoking he started gaining weight and just this morning he yelled up to me that the scale said 188.6 - he was so pumped! I love it that he's changing his lifestyle too!!
