But my job will pay for a big part of it and then I'd get to do fun classes like that!
You should totally join a gym! I have a treadmill, bike, BOSU, kettle bell, step, weights and all kinds of workout dvd at home but there is nothing like a workout at the gym or one of those classes. My work pays for half my membership too so it's only $20 a month so even if I only go twice a month it's worth it. I usually go more than that though! I love the sauna and steam room there too.

Where do you take your chest measurement? I have heard of some women doing it below the boob like where you would size for your bra band fitting and others around the fullest part of their boob.. just wondering!
Unfortunately I measure around the fullest part. I have tiny little A boobs

Wow this totally shocks me! I wish I had the 20 year old body though with no stretch marks and cellulite - I know, I know, I'm too hard on myself.

Don't worry I don't have good news either so I have to work hard this week to have a good weigh-in Friday - not Wednesday - Friday!
Ok so exercise was great this weekend but I didn't stick out the healthy eating Friday or Sunday. Here's how the weekend went down:
Friday - ate healthy all day, skipped the gym. Hubby made pizza for dinner and picked up a carton of chocolate milk so I indulged a little too much.
Saturday - woke up early and had a yogurt before heading out to the gym. Actually finished the full 3 hours of classes - after 2 hours I thought about giving up because I was beat but I grabbed a banana inbetween classes and decided I needed to finish it out. Here are the classes I took:
30 min step, 30 min cycle, 30 min muscles in motion, 30 min rock bottom, 30 min kettle bell, 30 min express abs and stretch. I burnt a total of 1440 calories in 3 hrs. The first two classes my heart rate was around 165 and then it dropped to about 150 during the muscles in motion class - it was an aerobics class using 5 lb hand weights the whole class. The rock bottom class focused on the lower half - squats, lunges, left lifts, etc and my heart rate was only around 125 but my legs were screaming! Kettle bell raised my heart rate again to 165 but I was beat and didn't give it my full effort. The last class was abs and stretch and my heart rate fell below 100 for the most part. Afterwards I sat in the sauna for a good 10 min and then I was starving so I showered fast and got home.
My stomach was just growling for food when I got home and what did I decide to give it - spicy black bean soup - not smart - my stomach was just aching the rest of the night. I tried to keep feeding it to make the pains go away and it only got worse. We ended up hosting our friend's 30th birthday party so there was all kinds of food and I had my share - plus 2 glasses of wine.
Sunday - I woke up thinking okay Lisa feed your body right today. My whole body was aching from the workout on Saturday so I decided to have a lazy day and started with a left over home made turkey burger and some ceasar salad. Then I had my breakfast - blueberries, all bran buds and yogurt. Then I made soup. Then I made popcorn. I just couldn't stop eating. Hubby went over to a friends house and I swear I just ate and ate. I felt horrible and went to bed feeling like crap.
Woke up feeling like crap. Wanted to get a workout in on the treadmill but hit snooze instead. Packed my gym bag so I have no excuse not to go tonight - except that I want to only work a half day and go home and sleep - that's what my body is telling me it wants anyway. Hopefully I will read some motivating words in some journals in a minute and change my mind.
Oh and it's my friends birthday tonight (29th) and they invited us for dinner and I want to go to see my friend but I know the restaurant they are going to doesn't have healthy options and we can't really afford it so I think i'm going to bail but I feel bad about it. Oh well that's just another rant today.
