Horrible horrible nfailure and a new beginning

I just turned 23...and about 6 months ago i was on here talking about my great weight loss journey, blah blah blah, whatever it never really happened, in fact it hit reverse hard, i weighed myself tonight for the first time in months, 389 pounds...I mean im 6'6" 6'7" and somehow i have natural muscle mass that makes me look no bigger then 320 pounds, but the scale doesn't lie, so instead of sinking my head back into the potato chip bag I decided to start all over again, im spent as far as exercise goes I can hardly stand for an hour let alone run or whatever, but as of now im going to start on a strict 2000 calorie max a day diet on weekdays, and 2400-2500 on weekends, im not gonna weight until Christmas or new years and make it my resolution, I need this now and this time im not going to dick around, im talking calorie counting on the scale every week, walking regularly (as i get more comfortable in my own skin again) weight loss goodness, and im hoping my friend who is shorter then me (6'0" or) and is about 365 pounds will join me but if not, its not his time....wish me luck i'll keep you updated if you have any tips or comments go ahead and throw them my way, if not enjoy my journal. My first goal albeit a big one down to 300 pounds, by april, if i make it i'll make it if i dont i'm sure i'll still weight alot less then 389 pounds so i'll be happy lol.
 
also in case anyone wants to know my diet plan i plan on quitting all diary thats not skim milk, and pork peroid...im also gonna do the whole no white bread thing, aside from that and veering away from obviously shitty foods, I.E. Fried food, and sugar laced treats, its gonna be pretty much a free for all, thought im going to try and severely up the veggies, and fruits (luckily even though im a fatty my blood sugar hoovers around 75-80), and lowering the red meats to a portion or two a week tops, im also going to try to stick to water, granted im sure i'll throw a diet coke or 3 in there a day.
 
Good luck bro. By the way, I hear pork tenderloin is suppose to have less fat than chicken breast. Just some FYI.

just wanted to wish you luck on your weightloss journey, i remember seeing you around the forum around the summer. i've also since then been dissappearing quite abit. i started with guns blazing and was loosing those pounds really well, then around june i hit a plateau, a plateau of which i've never come off of...i've been hovering between 306-310pounds for about 6months now and it makes me want to CRY. needless to say i lost alot of my steam for this long and forlorn journey, but slowly trying to get it back. the holidays aren't doing me any favours but will do my best to stay on track but will give myself some leeway.

i'm hoping to start 2010 with a bang...i hope it's a better weightloss year for me, and i hope the same for you too. your lucky you have the gift of youth, your starting early at 23....i'm 29 and have been hoping when i turn the big 30 will be at a weight i'm at least content with even though i'll still have quite abit to go.

PS: don't be so hard on yourself...the fact that you've picked yourself up and are back here means a whole lot...it means your ready for change. i also started at 350+ so definitely know where your coming from. all the best to you :)
