Hope I succeed a diet plan for once instead of bouncing back to higher weights ...

No time for intro, time to start.

Current weight: 60kg (BMI 27)
Goal weight: 50kg (I'm really short, so 50kg will bring me back into normal BMI of 22)

Overall plan:
- Lose 0.5kg every 2 weeks
- Drink lots 8 cups of water/day and keep hydrated
- Eat less deep fried foods, not to binge eat too much
- Smaller portions
- Less unhealthy snacks (e.g. Pringles, oh gawd I love pringles!), and more healthy snacks
- My main issue is food, I eat when people offer me food, when I walk pass food and I will eat HUGE portion sizes at work cos we get free meals at the cafe. I actually walk around a lot at work, so exercise isn't a huge problem.

Day 1 (Sundays are always hard):
My food story:
I woke up super late at lunch time, so no breakfast today...
Then I was in a rush to get out of the house cos I was running late to hang out with some friends, so I grabbed half a piece of toast and ran out of the door.

Came home in mid afternoon and was feeling SO HUNGRY. But remembered today day 1 of my weight loss plan! I can't fail at day 1 (like I usually do)! So I stared at a bag of chips for a long time, and decided not to snack on them:hurray:... instead I had one of those weightwatcher replacement meal things (with extra milk!) as I wait for dinner time to have a proper meal.
(I have to say, I've never had these before, but they are a lot yummy-er than I thought! cookies and cream flavour is just delicious, I'd totally go for a few more scoops...)

Then it turned out today my boyfriend's family invited me to go out for dinner... So I snacked on a bowl of almonds and walnuts as I currently eagerly wait for the delicious foods at dinner. I'll try my best not to eat too much deep fried foods. >_<

My exercise story:
I bummed on my laptop for most of the day... Now that I'm writing this diary, I'm feeling kind of guilty, perhaps I should go do a few burpees.:blush5:

Hi fev & welcome to the forum. Well done on making some good choices during the day. Losing half a kilo every 2 weeks sounds perfectly doable. Making small changes should work for you & making healthy choices, rather than snacking on chips etc will help. I can't even have a few crisps or I want to eat the lot. Dangerous things crisps! Hope you enjoyed the dinner. Cheers, Cate

EXACTLY! Can't resist those crisps at all! So I decided to stop buying them for the duration of my diet, hahah...
The dinner was delicious... so I had quite a few bowls of food... T_T

Day 2 (Long working days are hard...)
Foods:
Had my replacement meal thing for breakfast
Hot chocolate at morning tea
Sandwich + 3xfruits at lunch
Hot chocolate at afternoon tea
Sandwich + more fruits at dinner

Exercise:
Was at work from 8am till 11pm, so no time for exercise... :(

Day 3:
Foods:
Had a bowl of rice and some nice capsicum/egg stuff for breakfast
Tea at morning tea
Sandwich and 3xfruits at lunch
Rice, asparagus and veges for dinner

Exercise
ZUMBA today! :D got new gym membership

Sounds like you´re off to a great start! I´m not a friend of meal replacement stuff but who am I to judge what fits into other people´s lifestyle and will keep them motivated? Your goals sound both realistic and healthy, best of luck getting there!

Yay thank you! I'm terrible at staying motivated, motivation is usually my downfall when it comes to anything I do, so thank you for your kind words!

Day 4:
Foods:
Breakfast: replacement meal thing
Hot chocolate at morning tea
Lunch: massive bowl of salad and pasta, 3x fruits, yoghurt
Snacked on pinenuts in the afternoon
Dinner: big bowl of Fish/seaweed congee with some tofu

As usual, walked lots at work... not doing much exercise after work.

Day 5:
Breakfast:
pin wheel pizza bread

Lunch
Vego Sandwich, fruits x3.
(I'm so proud of myself. I stared at the deep fried chips in the cafe for AGES, and walked away from the deep fried foods today!)

Dinner
stir fried korean rice cakes, mushrooms, and tofu

Exercise: none.

Going on holiday for the next 3 weeks, so gonna be inactive. Will try to keep everything up in the mean time though.

Well done on walking away from the deep fried foods today! [emoji106] Enjoy your holidays [emoji2]

And I'm back from my holidays! Been binging on terrible fast foods during my time away... shake shack, in and out, etc, you name it... So I really gotta get back into the game! >_<

Day ? (lets restart with day 1 post returning from holidays):
Foods:
Haven't had unhealthy snacks today! Only nibbled on some almonds and walnuts. *nods* Good re-start.

Exercises:
Did a few burpees. Tidying my room was exercise too... seeing how untidy it is. xD
