Home Workout Routine

Around the same time last year I was going to the gym 3 times a week. My time there lasted 4 months before I couldn't afford to go anymore. Recently I've rediscovered the urge to exercise and build some muscles but I don't want to return to the gym. I have a few items would aid a home working routine; such as a heavy-bag, skipping rope and some cheap dumbbells (I'll be purchasing a bench and some more weights soon). Combined with sit-ups, push-ups and a couple of mies of running, I was thinking that a decent routine could be compiled that would both increase fitness and muscle size.

My question is: What sort of a routine am I looking at that includes these things?

For instance: 40 Sit-ups, 20 Push-ups, 20 minute run, etc.

Weighing in at an amazing 62kg: I'm in a reasonable state of health, although only recently have I quit smoking.

Thanks.

I was hoping for something a little more personal. Thanks though.

What were you hoping for? We could copy and paste all of the info on that site, or just let you go through it. Did you actually go through all of the site? There are tons of ideas, examples, and routines.

Left to my own devices, who knows what might happen? I've checked the website out. It does look helpful but my only issue is how to regulate all the exercises and which ones to choose. Anyway, ta.

AJP is right, he has several already made workouts using bodyweight and db stuff. If you're feeling adventurous he goes into some sandbag stuff. So, if you really wanted to have fun with his stuff-get a sand bag, a chin up bar, and have your dbs handy.
