Home Depot

Ok. So, i know im probably going to sound like a huge toolbox...

But seriously... Besides hockey, girls are the next best reason for me to workout.
From talking to girls i know that they like big arms (oviously)(specifically bicepts), and abs... so with the warm weather fast approching, id like to change my more leg workout/running/biking/skating routine to a more big arm big chest tight stomach routine for the summer. is it even possible to get bigger arms, and keep abs (or improve them)? i should have, plenty time to do whatever work out, and id like to keep a full body work out, but just... gear it more towards a much needed upper body improvement. So youve probably seen this post before... but can someone help me peice together a solid arm work out...
what should i eat? im 17, 5 11, and 160, so im pretty thin, and i dont really have a lot of fat, but not a lot of muscle either... i dont excatly eat healthy, but i drink hardly any soda, and dont eat candy or **** like that, but ill eat a pizza and fries any day of the week, haha. i think i get protein too, cause i eat hellas meat like no other.
OH! and one more thing,
i kinda slouch (sp???), i mean, i have bad posture, what can i do to pull my shoulders back and keep my back straight... my trainer said that its jsut cause i have a weak upper back compared to my chest why am i still typing.
thanks for anything.
hope i dont sound like to big of a meat head

this might be a bit off topic.
But i think many girls dont really know what they like best. biceps and abs are cool and its something you can put you're finger on and say "i like that"
but in my experience girls really like someone who looks broad, big, and sends out a powerful aura. The kind of stuff you get by doing heavy deadlifts, rows, etc.

And theres nothing wrong with having as a goal getting huge biceps and chest and defined abs, aslong as you balance things around so you dont end up with posture problems ;) Im not trying to bash you or anything.

Well said.

holy cow! that testosteroe nation page is big! does that work?

i completely understand what your saying karky, and i pretty much agree.
and no offense about the posture was taken at all. i think one of the reasons i have poor posture is because i spend more time on ice and roller skates then i do on my feet. and i sit in an uncomfortable school desk all day long.

alrite so i hear deadlifts talked about alot on this fourm....... but i dont really kno how to do them... or see anyone do them in my gym, i dont think... whats a deadlift... isnt just like picking up something off the ground, using ur legs? (in a quick description)

well i dident know you had bad posture, the no offence part was because i thought you might think i was saying you're a chest abs and biceps shallow person :p

im a bit busy now, ill be back later and try to dig up some articles and vids of a deadlift. You're basicly right, but technique-wise its alot more than just picking it up ;)
